Gives shine but no deeper hydration
Amika Flash Instant Shine Mask is described as a fast-acting hair mask that should give shine and hydrate hair in just 60 seconds. It does give some shine and slightly tames frizz, but it is not particularly moisturizing. The mask needs to work much longer than 60 seconds to be effective. The consistency is thin and has a light gel-like feel (contains flaxseed), but the formula is not very concentrated and quite a lot of product is needed to distribute it evenly in long hair. It feels expensive for what you get, so unfortunately it’s not a product I will buy again. Good mask
Very good mask, moisturised my hair instantly! It didn’t weight down my hair even after I applied it on all hair length, including roots. Overall really good product, but I didn’t feel like it moisturised my hair that well compared to other hair masks I tried.129 views
