Over expectation !!
At first, I was a bit skeptical when I saw the product's consistency. I thought it would be grainier than it was. The product also smells a bit special, like chicken feed, which isn't so strange considering the ingredients. The smell isn't strong and not as weird as it might sound. I'd rather have that than a strong perfume. The mask does a fantastic job of moisturizing and plumping the skin. I am usually very dry, especially after washing my face (and now that the air is starting to get dry and cold). When I rinse off this mask, I am not the least bit dry and tight (which often happens when I've used moisturizing gel masks). It also comes with a spatula to apply it with, which feels very luxurious, but also practical. Love Beauty of Joseon, but
I didn't really feel like this did much... My skin felt pretty much the same as before I put it on. Cheap and Best
One of the best on the market for the price. I usually only use face masks from Zo, Dr.Babor, Skinceuticals, and DP Dermaceuticals - the only masks I've gotten good results from, but they are costly in the long run. The masks from Beauty of Joseon are at the top with these masks!! Difference
Both this and the Red Bean Refreshing Pore Mask are exfoliating, but I don't know which one to choose. I have combination and acne-prone skin, and I get a few blemishes (pimples/small spots) from time to time. I'm sensitive to too many acids and also hyaluronic acid. My favorite when it comes to exfoliation is Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Black Sugar Facial Polish - but I think it's too expensive.
