"Did you know that on average we use 14,000 baby wipes per child? And that many of these wipes are still made of plastic fibers (polyester) or contain microplastics in the lotion? That's a big mountain of plastic all together. We believe that this can be done differently.

Naïf Plastic Free lotion wipes are everything you can expect from a baby wipe: strong, well moistened, with ingredients that take good care of sensitive baby skin, a good resealable packaging and also Plastic Free. So both the wipes and the lotion. No polyester fibers, no microplastics. Just a fine wipe that cleans and cares for. Also suitable as a snout cleaner by the way.

We are using extra (vegetable) glycerin, aloë vera and bamboo for extra hydration and the premature calming of red baby buttocks. Also nice: the lotion has been dermatologically tested, contains no alcohol, perfume and other ingredients that can make red baby buttocks flare up.

    Other fun facts:

    • The wipes are made from veocell. This is a soft fibre, made from a blend of oak, eucalyptus and other types of wood. Completely sourced from sustainably managed forests.
    • Naïf baby wipes are used at more than 500 day care centers in the Netherlands.
    • The wipes carry the Zero Plastic Inside certificate from the Plastic Soup Foundation.
    • Plastic-free wipes can also clog the toilet, so do not flush. They can simply be disposed of with the residual waste (due to faeces).

    Use:

First of all: Clean the mess. Open the clean packaging with one hand while changing. Wipe the baby's buttocks, genitals and between the folds. Tip: to prevent diaper rash, allow the skin to air dry for a while.
