    Smells like an old lady

    No, this was not for me. I thought it would smell like vanilla according to the description, but it smells like an old, musty lady perfume. I rarely have issues with scents and perfumes that might not smell that good, but this was awful, I couldn't stand the smell so I had to jump in the shower to wash it off. It smells like an old lotion that has expired, that's the best way I can describe the scent. Not for me!

    I bought this without having smelled it, only went by the description and reviews. Smells very good but a bit heavier than I thought - I was expecting a more light youthful scent. But since I am a person who likes a lot of scent, heavy perfumes, it still appealed to me. A four because I maybe wished for a bit more. Smells good as mentioned but doesn't stand out from "the other" scents on the market, hence a four. But a strong four.

    No difference

    I have now tested this color on two different occasions and can honestly say that it makes ZERO difference. I bleach my roots at home about 3 times a year and always finished with Mood Pearl Blonde before - it was perfect! But unfortunately, that color is no longer available, so I have been searching high and low for a similar color / toner. I found this last summer and tried to apply it to my roots after bleaching (the roots turned yellow as expected after bleaching). NOTHING happened, so I thought I might have done something wrong, it should only be on for 5 minutes, so there’s not much room for error. I had to buy another toner at that time that wasn’t as good as Moods but definitely better than this. Now it was time to dye my roots again, so I started with bleaching and thought I would give this another chance, but this time test leaving the color on longer than what it says. Said and done, but again - NO difference. So really none. Totally wasted money. So I do not recommend anyone to buy this toner. Completely worthless.

I really understand that it’s frustrating when a product doesn’t give the results you expect, especially when you’ve previously had a toner that worked perfectly for you 🤍 Préférence Le Blonding Toner is a mild toner that primarily neutralizes unwanted warm tones in light blonde hair, but it doesn’t have the same pigment strength as Mood Pärlblond. Since your regrowth turns yellow after bleaching, you probably need a more intense toner to achieve the right shade 🤗 I would recommend trying Schwarzkopf Igora Vibrance 9.5-1, which is cool and more pigmented.
