Damages the hair
I have used different brushes of various qualities for several years and haven't noticed much difference. Got this one from my hairdresser maybe 6 months ago, and my hair has never been as damaged and broken as it is now… Absolutely - I am blonde and bleach my hair about 3 times a year but use good products and have never experienced my hair this damaged since I started using this hairbrush. Makes hair greasy
I've only tested this product for about 10 days, so I haven't noticed any difference yet, but unfortunately I have to lower the rating already. GENESIS SERUM ANTI CHUTE FORTIFIANT gave me extremely greasy hair at a level I've never experienced before. I've been using less and less each time, finally just half a dose, but my hair still turns out a disaster from this. Greasy and coarse, so I won't be able to continue using this product and give a review regarding its results because I can't stand going around with greasy hair for 6 weeks. I can use other types of serums without getting greasy hair, so unfortunately this one is not for me. So good
I have tested different multistylers from several different brands, but I have to say that this one is the best so far. Feels solid, fun that you get so many different attachments, but the best part in my opinion is that you can set the heat and airflow in three different levels, meaning you can have 6 different settings in practice. I got it home yesterday and have only tested it quickly once so far, but I am very satisfied with the product! Not worth the money
I was so excited to get this, but I was so disappointed. First of all, it’s supposed to combat frizz, but it does the exact opposite - my hair became more frizzy than normal with this, the curls don’t hold, and the brush where you’re supposed to be able to catch the prongs to get the brush out easier pulls a ton of hair with it, making my hair super tangled. Then the parts fit very poorly, if you pull the slightest bit they come off the handle. So absolutely not worth the money. Doesn't really work on dry hair. As many others have said, it makes the hair sticky and feels more like hairspray than heat protection. Feels like it does more harm than good. Will NOT buy again. Okay, but no more
I’m also one of those who has fallen for the hype around Estrid, so I wanted to try it. I’ve never had problems with "razor bumps" or ingrown hairs before, but something happened when I turned 35, suddenly my skin became super sensitive - especially the bikini line, and I could no longer use disposable razors like I always had before with great results, so instead I’ve been using Gillette for men, and that’s the only thing that works for me now. But they do look a bit boring, so I bought this one to test, and the rating was - mjaaa. Totally okay, but absolutely not worth the hype. I tried it yesterday as soon as it arrived, and the bikini line was first up. The result was totally okay, not at all as silky smooth and clean-shaven as, for example, men’s razor blades give. I also got some razor bumps (despite proper prep both before and after). Today I shaved my legs and underarms, and already after the legs and bikini line, the "soap" around the blade was gone, and it didn’t glide as well on the skin anymore. So the razor head seems to handle one round of body shaving (legs, bikini line, and armpits) before it needs to be replaced, and then it suddenly becomes an expensive story. The result was unfortunately not impressive either... Smells like an old lady
No, this was not for me. I thought it would smell like vanilla according to the description, but it smells like an old, musty lady perfume. I rarely have issues with scents and perfumes that might not smell that good, but this was awful, I couldn't stand the smell so I had to jump in the shower to wash it off. I bought this without having smelled it, only went by the description and reviews. Smells very good but a bit heavier than I thought - I was expecting a more light youthful scent. But since I am a person who likes a lot of scent, heavy perfumes, it still appealed to me. A four because I maybe wished for a bit more. No difference
I have now tested this color on two different occasions and can honestly say that it makes ZERO difference. I bleach my roots at home about 3 times a year and always finished with Mood Pearl Blonde before - it was perfect! But unfortunately, that color is no longer available, so I have been searching high and low for a similar color / toner. I found this last summer and tried to apply it to my roots after bleaching (the roots turned yellow as expected after bleaching). NOTHING happened, so I thought I might have done something wrong, it should only be on for 5 minutes, so there’s not much room for error. I had to buy another toner at that time that wasn’t as good as Moods but definitely better than this. Now it was time to dye my roots again, so I started with bleaching and thought I would give this another chance, but this time test leaving the color on longer than what it says. Said and done, but again - NO difference. So really none. Totally wasted money. So I do not recommend anyone to buy this toner. I really understand that it’s frustrating when a product doesn’t give the results you expect, especially when you’ve previously had a toner that worked perfectly for you 🤍 Préférence Le Blonding Toner is a mild toner that primarily neutralizes unwanted warm tones in light blonde hair, but it doesn’t have the same pigment strength as Mood Pärlblond. Since your regrowth turns yellow after bleaching, you probably need a more intense toner to achieve the right shade 🤗 I would recommend trying Schwarzkopf Igora Vibrance 9.5-1, which is cool and more pigmented.
