      Yes, if the hair gets too much protein and too little moisture, it can become stiff, dry, and brittle, which in the worst case can lead to hair strands breaking off, this is called protein overload 🙈 If you are already using other protein-rich products like protein masks or strengthening shampoos, it might be good to alternate with more moisturizing products.
