Neutralizing Yellow Tones
My hair is at a level 8 and I want to tone it cooler, but silver shampoo doesn't do anything on such dark hair. How can I neutralize the yellow and orange tones? Could I mix a little blue into a conditioner and try to tone the color cooler that way?1 product in post Neutralizing Yellow Tones2449 views- Skin therapist at Lyko2 monthsHi Sari! Thank you for your great question 🩵 It’s true that traditional silver shampoo may not necessarily be sufficient to effectively neutralize warm tones like yellow and orange in the hair color you described. Mixing blue pigment into the conditioner could theoretically help neutralize warm tones, but the result may remain uneven or ineffective without the right pigment balance. I recommend checking out blue shampoos or care products that are designed to neutralize orange tones. lyko.com/fi/loreal-professionnel/l-or-al-professionnel-vitamino-color-spectrum-blue-shampoo-300-ml lyko.com/fi/milk-shake/milk_shake-cold-brunette-conditioner-250-ml

The best shampoo I’ve found for my fine, glassy hair, doesn’t contain protein, so it doesn’t harden or break the hair 👍 It’s also not so super cleansing that the hair becomes static. The scent is also lovely, a fresh water scent. #lykoreview1 product in post Favorite692 viewsto leave a comment
