    Smudgeproof this?!

I wonder how to make this, which is water-activated, become waterproof in principle? I use mineral foundation underneath. Thanks

Hey Issy!😊 This eyeliner is water-activated, so to make it hold better, you can prime with a primer or powder, and set it with translucent powder or a matching eyeshadow once it’s dry ✨ This makes it more resistant and long-lasting throughout the day! A hot tip is also to mix it with a setting spray instead of water, then it will last all day! Take care!🤎

    No-poo

Hey, I saw "Silicone Quaternium-22" in the ingredient list... Is this not approved for no-poo?

Hello!🌸 Keune Care Satin Oil Conditioner contains Silicone Quaternium-22. Strict no-poo/CGM: ❌ not approved (contains silicone) Low-poo: ✅ okay, since it is water-soluble and doesn't build up as much Take care! 🌸

    Choose in

I use The Ordinary - Retinol 1% and can have it every day without any problems, which makes me a bit tempted to switch to this. How do I go about the transition? Can you use both on different days or how does it work? Thanks

Hey Issy😊 Thanks for your question – how fun that you’re curious to try The Ordinary Retinal 0.2% Emulsion!✨ Since both Retinol 1% and Retinal 0.2% are active A-vitamin products, we recommend that you only use one at a time – not in parallel on different days. The reason is that they both work in similar ways in the skin and the combination can become too powerful, even if your skin is used to retinol. Here’s how you can think about the transition: - Finish using Retinol 1% before you start with Retinal 0.2%. - Wait a couple of days (preferably 2–3 evenings) to let your skin rest a bit between the products. - Then start using Retinal 0.2% 1–2 evenings a week to begin with, and gradually increase if your skin tolerates it well. Retinal (retinaldehyde) is a more advanced A-vitamin than retinol and works faster in the skin, so it can be a bit more potent – that’s why it’s wise to gradually acclimate your skin, even if you’re already using retinol without issues. Don’t forget sunscreen during the day. Good luck with your new routine and hope you have a super nice Friday🌞

Hey Issy! 🤠 When it comes to the scent of this one, unfortunately there are no descriptions of the scent profile on the manufacturer's website or in reviews 😅 It simply seems that the perfume notes are kept discreet in the product information... But based on the ingredients, I can sense that the scent is fresh & mild 🤗 Have a nice day 🌸

    Discontinued/ can be replaced?

Hi! I've noticed that this has been discontinued, which I think is very sad. Is there any other that you would say has the same effect as this for a similar price? And... By the way, I use mineral foundation in powder form and I have found that it works well for this. Is this silicone-based? /Thanks

Hello there Issy! 😊🤍 I haven't smelled this myself, but I would like to take a chance that it has a scent of honey, Aloe vera, shea butter 🥰 Are there maybe any others here in the Community who have tested it? 😍 Take care!

    Topics in..

Besides drying alcohols, does this contain anything that isn't okay if you follow the No Poo method?

Hey again Issy 👋😊 PEG-marked silicones are indeed considered water-soluble, but it can be difficult to ensure they have been washed out of the hair if you don't use some form of shampoo 🤍 Other ingredients as well as PEG-12 Dimethicone should be able to wash out of the hair without any problems if you use a sulfate-free shampoo 😃👍 All the best! ✨

Similar product in the same price range but cream

Hi! I wonder if there is a similar product to this but in cream instead of oil? I think it gets a bit messy with this one, but I like it otherwise. :) Thanks / issy

Thanks for the reply. Okay... Regarding the first one from Geek & Gorgeous, is it as gentle on the skin as the retinoid from The Ordinary?
