Overhyped
Bought this to try since it has been popular on social media but I am really not impressed. I don’t think it removes makeup and/or sunscreen better than, for example, Bulldog Sensitive or Aco Micellar Gel, actually I thought this was worse. Have tried it a few times and will use it up, but will not buy again.1 product in post Overhyped85 views - The post was made 2 weeksRating: 1 out of 5verified customer
Caused perioral dermatitis?
I have used Jorgobé's Niacinamide serum completely without problems for a long time (read: used several tubes) and wanted to try this serum from Lyko, but after about 1 week I noticed that I became very irritated and super dry around my mouth and nose. It got significantly worse when it started to sting and almost burn, so I removed the serum and the retinal serum to protect the skin as much as possible. Now it has been several weeks since I removed this serum from my skincare routine and I still haven't started using Jorgobé again as I don't think the skin barrier has fully recovered yet. In terms of consistency, this serum from Lyko is much more runny than the one from Jorgobé. Which is neither an advantage nor a disadvantage, just different. However, I don't dare to continue using it since the skin reacted so strongly. I had nothing else new in my skincare routine, so it must have been this that caused it.1 product in post Caused perioral dermatitis?100 views - The post was made 2 monthsRating: 3 out of 5
Pillar
I have very oily skin and this is light, but it pills! On the first day, I didn't understand what it was along the jawline, but after a few days with the same result, I figured out what the little white "sausages" were. I've tested it both morning and night for a week, and unfortunately, it’s the same every time. I've tried applying it in thin layers or in one single layer, but with the same result. Such a shame, because I otherwise like it! (I use Pyunkang Yul "Essence Toner", then Jorgobé "Niacinamide Serum" under this, and regardless of which other creams I've used before, it has never been like this. Therefore, it must unfortunately be this product). Light and I haven't become clogged or oilier Large packaging: affordable Fragrance-free - "Pillar" and I suspect that it doesn't look nice under liquid foundation for me. I've tested mineral powder (foundation) and that worked.1 product in post Pillar1253 views - The post was made 5 months
Difference?
Hi! What is the difference between this and the "Pyunkang Yul Calming Moisture Barrier Cream"? And which one is "lightest"? I have extremely oily skin type and need a day cream as light as possible.1 product in post Difference?127 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 5 monthsHey Louise😊 Thanks for your question✨ The Pyunkang Yul Balancing Gel is a lightweight gel that absorbs quickly and feels thin on the skin — perfect for extremely oily skin. The Calming Moisture Barrier Cream is richer and more moisturizing with ceramides and squalane, which can feel a bit heavier on very oily skin. For a day cream as light as possible, the Balancing Gel is the best choice for you 🙏🏼 Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice Friday🖤1 likes

Comparison with ACO's micellar gel
Hi! What is the difference between this and ACO "Hydrating micellar cleansing gel"? Most of the ingredients look similar, but in a slightly different order in the ingredient list, and ACO is much cheaper per liter. I also wonder how to do double cleansing: round 2. Should you dry your face with a towel after rinsing off the first time, before taking the second time with the gel? Or do you cleanse on a dry face the first time, and wet the second time?1 product in post Comparison with ACO's micellar gel - The post was made 7 monthsRating: 2 out of 5verified customer
61 Apricot Blush
The positive: it really stays on after applying on oily monolids. The "neutral": the color wasn't right for me, but it is for someone else. The negative: it was hard to apply (for me at least) because it is dry and doesn't glide, so it gets quite uncomfortable to pull on the eyelid to get the product on. It is indeed a matte color, but it looks very dry on the eyelid. It also emphasized wrinkles that aren't visible otherwise - probably because it looks so dry.1 product in post 61 Apricot Blush1319 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Not for me
I bought this to gently start with BHA acid, but I felt the effect was lacking, so I’m using a 2% BHA acid with zinc instead. This might be better in the winter when my skin gets very dry, so I’ll test it again then. (I have a very oily skin type with very large pores, and I get clogged very easily even though I also get easily dry)1 product in post Not for me2197 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 7 monthsHey Louise! 🌸 Thank you for sharing your experience with the product and telling us how it worked for your skin. We understand that you may need to test things out, especially when your skin is both oily and can also become dry. It sounds wise to give the product another chance during the winter when your skin needs more hydration. 💜 We also want to suggest that you take our skin test on Lyko.com – there you can get personal recommendations from our skin therapists that suit your skin type and needs lyko.com/en/beauty-scan/hudtestet ✨ Have a great day! 💫

Works for real
Wow! I can notice a difference! I had another serum with a lower % niacinamide in it, and didn’t notice any difference in pore size - so I didn’t think this would work either. But it does! I bought this after a recommendation and thought I was imagining an improvement already after 1 week (using morning + evening), but after 2 weeks I really see an effect. I have always had oily skin and large pores on my forehead, on my nose, and on my cheeks near my nose). Due to medication, it has gotten even worse, so I have felt quite desperate before I found this. Over the years, I have developed pigment spots and now I am quite sure that I have melasma (I have had a large dark and stubborn spot on my forehead for 2 years), but they have become lighter since I started using niacinamide. This serum is stronger than my previous one and it shouldn’t need to be stronger to have an effect both for pore size and brightening - I can confirm that it actually works! I highly recommend this serum, but if you have never tried niacinamide before, you should gradually ease into it, don’t just slap it on morning and evening like I did. Alternatively, you should start with a milder product before you switch to this one. Previously, I used Puritos "Wonder Releaf Centella Serum Unscented" which contains a lower percentage of niacinamide and was very gentle and kind to my dry skin. But I didn’t think it helped with pore size even though I used it for many months, I think I was on my 3rd package when I got this. On the evenings I use BHA acid (2%) I let it sink in completely - at least 20 minutes, before I apply the serum. Otherwise, the BHA acid and niacinamide cancel each other out, and I want to get maximum effect from both (otherwise it’s unnecessary to use the products). After the serum, so far it has been enough with Puritos "Hydro Wave Deep Sea Cream", but I’ll see how dry I get in the fall and winter. Then I’ll probably switch to something creamier for the night.1 product in post Works for real1764 views - The post was made 9 monthsRating: 4 out of 5verified customer
Base in my skincare routine
I've had a really hard time finding a moisturizer that doesn't clog or make me look like a butter package, but this one doesn't feel on the skin. It dries in quickly. I also use it at night in the summer. Medications have worsened my oily and acne-prone skin, so I unfortunately get shiny from everything I've tried, but this one feels the best. My skin thrives best on By Wishtrends mandelic acid, Puritos Centella serum, and this as a finishing moisturizer. If I feel spotty dry in the evening, I have The Ordinary's squalane drops right there as an extra addition. I got very clogged and got pimples from sunscreen, and thanks to this being part of my base routine that I can "fall back" on, my skin calmed down quite quickly. I would have liked a larger packaging!1 product in post Base in my skincare routine1147 views - The post was made 9 monthsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Mild and Effective
Due to medication, my already oily skin has become extremely oily and even more acne-prone. I have become yttdry and even more sensitive than I was before, which is why I was very hesitant to try exfoliation - but it worked really well! This is mild and at the same time very effective on my skin! I started with 1 evening/week and then ramped up to 2 evenings/week. I noticed quick improvement in my skin; not as much acne and small blemishes! Unfortunately, I didn't get to use it more often because the spring sun started to peek out and mandelic acid makes the skin more sun-sensitive, so I switched to a mild BHA acid, but I will switch back in the fall as my skin really liked this!1 product in post Mild and Effective3113 views
