Nice on the go
This is the perfect product to have in your beach bag. I like that it’s small and easy to carry on the go, since many of us are a bit too lazy to reapply sunscreen throughout the day. The formula is like a solid lip balm, quite greasy and feels long-lasting in use. I also really appreciate that there’s no synthetic fragrance in the product. It feels a bit greasy on the skin, or maybe more like a slightly firm “wax-like” consistency, but this didn’t bother me much since it melts more into the skin when you rub it in. I think it offers good value for the money (161 kr, 8 g), as it’s quite long-lasting. However, it’s probably best suited as an emergency solution/for use on the go rather than a sunscreen you use regularly, since it takes a bit of time and effort to apply properly. It’s so small that I’ve only used it on my face and on the most exposed parts of the body, like scars and moles. I don’t have “problem skin” and don’t struggle with acne or sensitivity, so I didn’t react to this. However, I can imagine it might be comedogenic for those who easily get breakouts from greasy creams, since it contains both shea and coconut fats, and isopropyl palmitate, all of which are comedogenic (clog pores). I also wish the ingredients were listed on the product itself, but otherwise I’m very happy with this sun stick and will carry it with me in my bag this summer. #cerave #lykoinflutester1 product in post Nice on the go442 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 5 out of 5Verifierad testare
Great for the face
This sunscreen is one of the best I've tried for the face. The formula is relatively thin and not greasy or sticky. There is no strong scent, and the cream absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a shiny or greasy layer. I find it very comfortable to use under makeup and experienced no "layer peeling" or that the makeup wore worse with the sunscreen underneath. I also think it offers good value for money, as it is 50 ml for 199 kr. I personally don't have issues with acne-prone or sensitive skin, but since it is not greasy and has no strong scent, I don't see it causing breakouts or skin reactions. Since this sunscreen also has a chemical filter, it does not leave a bluish layer on the skin like sunscreens with physical filters often do. I have quite fair skin, so I don't struggle much with this, but I imagine this sunscreen can safely be used by those with darker skin tones as well since it doesn't give the skin that bluish layer. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a light and versatile sunscreen, and I can imagine it suits all skin types. #cerave #lykoinflutester1 product in post Great for the face252 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 5 out of 5Verifierad testare
Suitable for everyone
I love that this sunscreen is completely neutral. This sunscreen has no noticeable scent, which I really like. It feels better for the body to apply something that doesn’t smell very synthetic or strong. I’m personally a fan of synthetic sunscreen scents, but I appreciate that this line stays neutral and simple, so it can be used by anyone. The formula is also very nice and requires little effort and stress. On my skin, the cream absorbed deeply after I worked it in a bit. I’ve previously used sunscreens in oil, gel, and much thicker versions, but I prefer this light consistency, which doesn’t leave a sticky layer on the skin or require much effort to fully rub in. (In the attached pictures, I haven’t fully rubbed the cream into the skin, just to show the consistency; it becomes invisible on the skin when fully applied.) I also think this sunscreen offers very good value for money, with 177 ml for 191 kr. I also prefer to use SPF 30 on my body and have noticed that many sunscreens on the market cost significantly more in SPF 50 versions. The difference in protection between SPF 30 (97%) and SPF 50 (98%) is marginal, so it’s good to know when looking for sunscreens. I couldn’t find any of the CeraVe sunscreens in the Consumer Council’s sunscreen test, but I saw on the Nordic Swan Ecolabel list that it is not Swan-labeled. I know that sunscreens with chemical filters often contain chemicals that are less biodegradable than sunscreens with physical filters. The only thing I’m dissatisfied with about this product is that I wish it were easier to see where CeraVe’s products fall on the environmental scale. The advantage of sunscreens with chemical filters, however, is that they absorb much more easily into the skin and can be used by people of all skin tones, as they don’t leave a bluish layer on the skin. #cerave #lykoinflutester1 product in post Suitable for everyone132 views - The post was made 10 monthsRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Discreet Glow
I tested these self tan drops from Dr. Greve, and think they worked just fine. Unlike other similar products I've used before, these drops offer an ultra-discreet glow. You can of course adjust the results with the number of drops you use, but these are very user-friendly. The drops are transparent, and the formula itself has no noticeable scent. I mixed about 6 drops into a dollop of face cream on my palm, and then spread it over my face and neck. The next day, there was almost no visible difference, except for a very slight sheen and warm tone in my face. Next time I would use even more drops, but I was satisfied with the result. I have previously experienced that similar products can cling extra well to eyebrows and around the mouth, leaving an orange tint in those areas, but I did not experience this with this product. I liked that it was less concentrated, so it can be built up gradually, and I can see that this could be perfect for those who have little experience with self-tanning for the face. All in all, I am satisfied with the product, but I probably prefer others that have more effect. #lykoinflutester #drgreve1 product in post Discreet Glow2862 views - The post was made 10 monthsRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare
Mild glow
I tested this self-tanning cream from Dr. Greve, and I think it delivered what it promised in the product description. The cream has a light and thin consistency, which is easily absorbed into the skin. It doesn't have an unpleasant scent during application, and it didn't leave any stains on my bedding. I woke up the day after application with the recognizable self-tanning scent, but I thought my legs had a visible glow. The scent also disappeared after a shower. This cream is very user-friendly and didn't require any equipment for application. It also didn't leave streaks, but spread evenly over the skin surface, without me having to work it in any more than I would with regular body lotion. All in all, I would say that this product is perfect for those who want a light and discreet glow, and who may not have much experience with self-tanning before. #lykoinflutester #drgreve1 product in post Mild glow3448 views - The post was made 1 yearsRating: 2 out of 5
Weird consistency
I unfortunately did not like this cream at all. I am in the target group for this cream, as it is marketed towards normal-very dry skin. I have dry/combination skin and experience dry areas in the T-zone and patches on my cheeks. Now I have been using this cream (off and on) for about a month, and I have disliked the experience every time. My biggest problem with this cream is the formula. The consistency is almost like a watered-down pomade, which feels waxy and sticky when applying the cream to the face. It does not spread easily and feels like a layer on top of the skin. I experienced both that it hardened in my eyebrows and started to flake off my face when I had thicker layers that weren't fully absorbed. My second problem with this cream is that it absolutely did not provide my skin with enough moisture. Since the cream is aimed at dry and unbalanced skin, I had expected a much richer and creamier product that would really hydrate my skin. At this price point, there are also countless other creams that actually deliver rich moisture, and I will unfortunately probably continue to choose them over this cream going forward. #lykoinflutester #sawe1 product in post Weird consistency961 views- The user's roll: Former employee. Do the job
I have used this serum for just under a month, and I think it has been just okay. I have used hyaluronic acid before, and know what to expect (just provides deeper moisture), but I don’t think this serum lived up to the price. It gave my skin the same effect as much cheaper hyaluronic serums I have used before. In the last month, I have also had many more impurities and irritations in my skin - probably unrelated to this product -, but I therefore don’t think I can say that it has improved my skin barrier much. I really like products that contain zinc, and have felt almost immediate effects on my skin barrier when I have used them in my skincare routine, unlike this serum. The serum has a very watery consistency, which absorbs incredibly quickly into my dry/combination skin. I’m not sure if it’s just the wrong serum for me, or if the product itself doesn’t quite deliver what it promises, but I think I will stick to the more affordable hyaluronic acids going forward. #lykoinflutester #sawe1 product in post Do the job318 views - The post was made 1 yearsRating: 3 out of 5
Helt ok
I have been using this eye cream for just under a month now, and I just think it’s totally okay. The consistency is a nice in-between of thick and thin, and it has a sort of «satin» finish. I prefer this formula over sticky or gel-like consistencies, so that was a big plus for me. However, I don’t think it has provided any noticeable moisture to my eye area. I get very dry skin in the t-zone at times, and I’ve still had dry patches on the bridge of my nose that border the eyelids, even during the time I’ve been using this cream. It also says that this product is supposed to tighten and brighten the eye area, but I really haven’t seen any results from that. I think I would rather buy a cheaper eye cream instead of this one next time I run out. #lykoinflutester #sawe1 product in post Helt ok445 views Mina
