    My hair turned purple!!

    My hair turned purple. This was sold to me in the Lyko store by an employee - as a “blue/purple” shampoo to remove yellow tones in the hair. It is not that!!! The hair turned purple!! I followed the instructions on the bottle. The hair had to be colored gray/silver first – then a whole shade darker blonde to get rid of the purple from my nice natural blonde hair. I should have gotten my money back and an apology 😞

It’s really unfortunate that the result wasn’t what you expected, especially since you followed the instructions and had the product recommended to you 💗 Colour Refresh Vivid Violet is a color treatment with a lot of violet pigments, which on light or naturally blonde hair can give a more noticeable purple shade than desired. I recommend that you contact our hairdressers at frisoren@lyko.com, so they can take a closer look at your situation and advise on products or methods that can help wash out the pigments and get closer to the shade you want 🤍 Thanks again for taking the time to leave a review ✨ Take care! 🌸

    Strong smell

    Smells too strong and like a "men's perfume." Thought this would have a mild and pleasant scent. Nope!
