I was really looking forward to trying this product, as I think LED masks seem very promising and luxurious.
The product comes in a sleek packaging, where all necessary parts are included. The mask is easy to assemble, and you can easily adjust how far you want the mouthpiece to be. The mask itself is pretty and simple in design, and easy to clean. I initially struggled a bit with figuring out how to turn the device on, but fortunately, the user manual was understandable and descriptive.
There are two different modes on the device, as the two different wavelengths have different effects/purposes. You should only use the device for a max of 5 minutes only once a day, which the device controls itself with a timer that turns off the device after 5 minutes of use. This is a big plus. You should also use the device on clean skin (without sunscreen and makeup), so that the light waves reach the skin.
I have alternated between the two different modes every other day, so I get to test both wavelengths. I have also used the mask every day for about a month.
When using the device, you can feel a bit warm after a few minutes, but it’s not uncomfortable. The process also makes no sounds, and the mask is completely silent. The mouthpiece itself is unfortunately a bit awkward to have in your mouth for 5 minutes, and it’s somewhat difficult to assess how to position your lips during the process.
As for the results, I can’t see much difference in my lips before and after using the device (before is up, and after is down), but I notice that they feel softer and smoother. So even though there are no visible results, there is a noticeable effect of the product. I can also see that my smile lines have faded a bit (which is also an effect of the mask).
All in all, I would say that I am satisfied with the result, even though I haven’t seen any change in the appearance of my lips. It is still somewhat time-consuming to have the mask in your mouth for five minutes every day, as you usually use the mask in connection with skincare or grooming. Despite this, I am satisfied with the product and like to believe that over time it will have a good effect. It also feels a bit luxurious to use the mask as part of the skincare routine.
