Mario was a skincare therapist and chemist, he came to NYC in the 60s from Romania to chase "the American dream". He started creating his own skincare based on botanical ingredients, and his facials quickly became popular among actresses and celebrities. Today, Mario Badescu is run from their headquarters in New Jersey, and facials are still performed in the same building where he started, where they have a large salon with 36 treatment rooms in Manhattan.
Two products that have been constants in Mario Badescu's range are their award-winning Drying Lotion (fast-acting treatment for blemishes) and their hydrating facial spray with rose scent (available in two sizes, 59 ml & 118 ml).
