Does this work on oily skin?
I have oily skin mostly in the T-zone and a tendency to pimples that lie under the skin and become large, but also sensitive skin. I also have POD now during the fall/winter season that recurs. Got this recommended through a skin test but now when I read the reviews it seems many with dry skin use this. Wondering if this will cleanse sufficiently since I have oilier skin. Had more problems with pimples a few years ago and have for several years used “Purito Seoul Mighty Bamboo Panthenol Cleanser” which has helped incredibly well with pimples/oily skin. And my skin does well with it. But now when the POD comes the doctor wants me to have a milder cleanser since Purito contains Tea tree, though quite low down on the ingredient list but still.1 product in post Does this work on oily skin?50 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. Even though UltraCalming Cleanser is a mild and creamy cleanser, it also suits you if you have oilier skin and a tendency to breakouts. It removes dirt and impurities without drying out or disturbing the skin barrier, which feels especially relevant when you also have issues with POD and have been advised to use a milder cleanser. However, it will not give the same "deep cleansing" feeling as your Purito cleanser, but in your case, I would rather prioritize a mild cleanser and let the skin calm down. Since you have already been advised by a doctor to avoid tea tree, I therefore think UltraCalming is a good alternative to try 💗 Take care!1 likes

My rosacea skin loves this!
This is a cleanser that works really well even for me with rosacea. It does the job without making my reactive skin flare up, feel hot, or sting. Sometimes I just use Dermalogica, and sometimes I use it for double cleansing with Bioderma Sensibio H2O micellar water. Fantastic for sensitive skin 💯
I have super sensitive skin, can't handle all foundations and not to mention cleansers. I've had several that were supposed to be gentle on sensitive skin, but it always ended the same: more itching and damaged skin barrier with redness. This one has helped me! My skin actually feels clean and not irritated or tight like it usually does after cleansing. I have less redness on my cheeks and no itching! The price is high, but it is economical. It doesn't remove all makeup, especially mascara, so in the evening I often use smuuti sorbet oil cleanser or lumene micellar water. Usually, I can get by with either one or the other; if I use micellar water, I can use dermalogica afterward, otherwise my skin gets tight like before with redness. I use smuuti by itself! If you have sensitive skin that reacts to most things, I recommend this, despite the price!
