    Cannot recommend

    I have recently bought the cleansing balm from Elemis, which is wonderfully luxurious. So I decided to give it a try with some other products including this eye mask, especially after reading all the great reviews about it. I have very dry skin with some fine lines. Considering this is an eye reviving creme, I was expecting it to hydrate and reduce the appearance of these fine lines around my eyes. I was very wrong. I initially tried to layer this as eye cream under my make up as was indicated in the how to use section of the product. My under eye make up started flaking off within 15 minutes so I thought maybe this is just one claim that the brand has that does not go well with the other products I am using. Next, I tried to use it as a reviving mask around my eyes overnight. I woke up with completely dried under eyes as if I all the hydration from my skin was sucked away. I simply don't understand how a product that is supposed to be anti aging and hydrating becomes flaky and makes me look 20 years older overnight. To give it a last chance, I even tried to use it over other eye creams. It effectively canceled out any hydration that came from other products as well. So in summary, this has been a disappointing and expensive mistake for me. And one less customer for this brand.
