    Ingredients

Elexir Rosenrot is a dietary supplement packed with high-concentration extract of rhodiola rosea. This adaptogen is known for its potential to positively impact physical fatigue and emotional stress. Elexir Rosenrot also contains pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), which helps maintain normal mental performance and reduces tiredness and exhaustion. Plus, it’s enhanced with Bioperine® (black pepper extract) for better absorption.

Chill out instead of stressing out

Stress can actually be a good thing; it’s our body’s way of gearing up for challenges when we need to step up our game. But when we find ourselves in a constant state of stress without breaks, both our body and mind can get totally drained.

    What triggers stress

Stress is super personal. For some, it might be a work project that has to be done by a certain deadline, while for others, it could be a potential conflict with a partner or boss. Even the everyday hustle of dropping off and picking up kids from daycare can be a source of stress. Plus, expectations from those around us can add to the pressure.

    What happens in the body

A stress response kicks off in what’s called the sympathetic nervous system, and it happens fast. Stress hormones like cortisol, norepinephrine, and adrenaline are released to raise blood pressure and pump out sugar and energy, prepping our muscles for action. All focus shifts to survival, and everything else takes a backseat. If this state becomes more or less permanent, it starts to affect the brain too. Studies show that our cognitive abilities (like learning) decline, concentration worsens, and we become forgetful. In the worst-case scenario, we can end up with burnout syndrome.

    Balancing adaptogens

The term “adaptogen” was coined in 1947 by pharmacologist A.V. Lazarev to describe the surprising effects of a vasodilator found in France – enhancing the organism's resilience to stress, or anything that threatens its balance. Since then, especially during the 1960s, the Soviet Union has been at the forefront of adaptogen research, seeking natural sources of these powerful compounds.
