Lovely serum that felt good together with the cream from the same brand, but reacted with red, inflamed skin on the face after 2-3 days of use. Beautiful but bad serum in an even worse bottle!
This beautiful purple anti-aging serum with bakuchiol, ceramides, peptides, and a large number of other ingredients sounded fantastic, and I liked the small sample I got in a mini bag👍 Unfortunately, the product in the bottle had practically nothing in common with it🤥 The positives: ➕️ Glass bottle with dropper and outer carton – no plastic. ➕️Fragrance-free. ➕️The visibly nice content. The downsides: ➖️The serum is layered in the bottle with a light and a dark part. They do NOT mix when shaken, so you can’t know which part you get in the dropper. ➖️The serum is VERY thick and viscous. The dropper barely picks it up, and it becomes very difficult to get the last third out of the bottle. In the end, I had to pour a little into my palm every day instead. -The serum appears to have large white spots/clumps in it, which is probably one of the ingredients, but it looks quite unappealing🤔 (resembles dandruff or congealed grease😅) ➖️The bottle is quite heavy, and I don’t think it’s recyclable. ➖️And the serum contains niacinamide. Unfortunately, I didn’t see that when I bought it! I use bakuchiol instead of retinol because of my very thin, dry skin that also doesn’t tolerate niacinamide on cheeks, neck, and décolleté, so it was quite a failure👎 After a while, I had dry, tight, almost itchy patches on my cheeks. On my neck and décolleté, where I REALLY need anti-aging products because the skin ages quickly, the skin became too irritated, so I couldn’t use it there either! Left was the T-zone, which is a bit tougher. I want bakuchiol precisely because it’s mild but without niacinamide! Result: Used the serum from July to early September but couldn’t use it every day due to the negative effects. The skin got no new glow, no softening effect, no other anti-aging effect either👎 just tight, slightly irritated skin. Big disappointment. Should have gotten minus if possible but reluctantly gets 1 pale star. ⭐️ #lykoreview32 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. I've gotten eczema from it before and am always afraid of getting it back.
