Cannot gatekeep
I usually don't write reviews, but this time it had to be done. I've used a hot air brush from Babyliss for years and was okay satisfied considering the price, but I was annoyed that it takes a long time, there is a lot of frizz, and that my hair doesn't hold the style. I have been looking for something better and tested everything from ghd rise to various straighteners and also Dyson, but I was never completely satisfied. A friend who also has a lot of hair with natural volume recommended this to me, and I am very satisfied. I styled my hair quickly, and it holds all day. I see people writing that it is heavy, but I actually don't think so. Highly recommended!!1 product in post Cannot gatekeep2894 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Too expensive
Gee super smooth hair and makes it dry relatively quickly BUT gets super hot! I've had several of these tools but none have gotten as hot as this one. Feels like a flat iron with a blow dryer. But as I said, for frizzy hair it's super good. The only downside is the price and that there isn't a cool setting, so it's hard to keep the curls because of that. It is also maybe heavy and a bit hard to clean because it has hard plastic spikes and not a brush with bristles. So there are probably cheaper variants that have a brush head that doesn't get as hot, are easier to clean, and that you can even remove and clean the filter on. So buy if on sale, otherwise not worth it, I would say.115 views - The post was made 2 weeks
Glass Hair - straight, shiny hair
Hey! Does this work well on glass hair? I have a hard time getting curls to hold because of my hair quality. If this isn't the right choice, what is? :)1 product in post Glass Hair - straight, shiny hair1089 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 2 weeks1 likes

Does it work on afro hair?
Hi! I wonder if it works for afro hair or very curly hair. I never use heat tools because I don't want to damage my hair. But I want to try blow-drying it sometimes. Is this gentle? I assume you have to use heat protection?1 product in post Does it work on afro hair?1761 views- The user's roll: Hairdresser at Lyko. The comment was made 3 weeksHey Maria! It absolutely works well to use it on afro or very curly hair 💜 It is gentle, but when you blow-dry or use any form of heat, it’s important to always use heat protection to protect the hair and maintain strength and shine 😍 This heat protection works great! 👉🏼 lyko.com/sv/ghd/ghd-straight-on---straight-and-smooth-spray-120ml Have a nice day ☃️

Hallelujah 👏🏻
Wow! I say! I've been waiting for this heat brush for surely 30 years! As a child of a hairdresser, I've had the privilege of testing the latest tools and products for my corkscrew curly hair, but I've never managed to get that salon blowout on my own. But now I can finally do it, and it was very easy too. Today, at 45 years old, my hair is thinner than in my younger days, but if I had thick hair, I would have blow-dried it first so it wasn't super wet and then gone in with this tool. I thought it would be bulkier, but I found it easy to use. If I could wish for something, it would be more heat settings than just one. But the result is really super nice. Easy to get the curls out and bends the hair just as easily. It's quite expensive, but often you can get it for around 3000 kr on sale 👍🏻 I really recommend it! Especially for us with curly or frizzy hair!1 product in post Hallelujah 👏🏻2769 views- Update after using for a week and testing on a teenager's long hair with slightly coarser strands than mine and with a bit of natural wave. Just as nice results on her, but she gets just as nice results from a regular hair dryer and a Babyliss heat brush with pig hair that also dries (unlike Björn Axen, which is only heat), so my conclusion is that this is really a super hit for us with curls and frizz. I love it with all my heart, but if you have straight hair or waves/natural waves, this makes no difference compared to a hair dryer and a regular heat brush.

Weight
What does this weigh? Read that it's a bit heavy in the hand.1 product in post Weight2396 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 2 monthsHey Pernilla! 👋 The exact weight for the ghd Duet Blow Dry - 2-in-1 Hair Dryer Brush Black is not specified in the official product descriptions from ghd or retailers 🩷 This weight is somewhat higher than many other hair brushes and dryers, which can affect the user experience. Some users have noted that the weight can make it somewhat heavy during longer use, but it is still relatively light compared to other professional styling tools 🙌 Hope you like it 🥰 Take care!

African Hair
Hi, I’m wondering if it works for African hair?1 product in post African Hair2685 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 3 monthsHi! Thank you so much for your question! The GHD Duet Blow Dry is designed to suit all hair types, and many with curly and textured hair have achieved great results with shine and less frizz ✨ At the same time, very tight or coarse curly hair may require a bit more time and sectioned styling for the best results. Hope this helps you in your choice 💖1 likes

GREAT
This was really good. It makes the hair soft and removes frizz in the hair. It gives nice soft curls that last for many days. It gets very hot and could burn the finger. Too bad there isn't a setting to reduce the heat. It also got stuck in my hair once and I panicked, but I managed to turn it off right away and then it was fine. It was my fault for not rolling the brush correctly. But absolutely the best of all the blow-dry brushes I've tried, and a favorite along with my Dyson. I recommend not using it on completely wet hair if you have thick long hair like me.3962 views - The post was made 6 monthsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
The Best
I love it, I use every day now, My hair is curly but with one or two passes my hair is completely straight, smooth with bounced ends, super easy. You can also make big curls with it. I prefer to dry my hair with a blow dryer before using it, this way in 10 min I'm done with perfect hair! The best is that doenst pull hair and it doesnt damage it at all, I have it for months now and 0 regrets about this!!3911 views - The post was made 8 months
Does this work on short hair?
I have relatively short hair, just below the jawline, will this work for me? It looks a bit big?1 product in post Does this work on short hair?4716 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 8 monthsHi✨ It should basically be perfectly fine to use the ghd Duet Blow Dry – 2-in-1 Hair Dryer Brush even if you have relatively short hair. The brush head may look large, but many find that it gives an even and nice result even on shorter lengths. You can also divide your hair into a few more sections than you would with long hair, so that you can more easily reach the roots🥰 Feel free to reach out if you have more questions!1 likes
