Lasted 2 years..
Really good straightener for my curly and thick hair, BUT today the iron suddenly started flashing a red "alarm" light and beeping while straightening. I've used the product as I should, don't know why it started doing that. I asked ChatGPT and it said the product is broken and shouldn't be used anymore. I bought my iron here from Lyko about two years ago.. Could it be a defective product..? I would understand if the iron lasted for years, but two years?! Is protection included?

If you want to be able to both curl and straighten your hair, the ghd Platinum+ is a great choice because it’s gentle and works well for both 👌 However, if you mainly want to straighten your hair quickly, the ghd Max could be a good option thanks to its wider plates. It has technology that continuously adjusts the heat based on how you style your hair and how thick your hair is. This can provide a more even result, more shine, and help protect your hair better during styling. ghd Gold also has very good heat distribution and heats up quickly, but uses a slightly simpler technology that keeps the temperature stable in the plates. It still delivers smooth and nice results, but without the same automatic adjustment as Platinum+.
