    Good for curling?

Hi! I’m considering buying the ghd platinum+, but I’m wondering if it’s good for curling? I have fine hair that tends to get damaged easily. I mainly use a flat iron to curl with. Is the ghd platinum+ the best flat iron on the market for me, or is there another one that’s better?

Hey Hanna! Ghd Platinum+ is an excellent choice for curling fine and damaged hair. Its smart technology maintains a constant gentle temperature of 185°C, and the rounded edges make it easy to create curls without damage. One of the best options for both styling and hair health💇‍♀️💖 Take care!💖

    Gold, platinum+ or chronos?

If you have very long, thin, fine, beautiful, damaged hair that easily tangles and easily breaks, which flat iron should you get? Gold, platinum+ or chronos? I flat iron my hair 1-3 times a week. I rarely curl it. I've tried to read up on it, but what is the specific difference between these three? They are all quite expensive (especially chronos 😬), but it's probably worth it since they seem to be gentler than other flat irons?

Hey Nina! It’s not easy to navigate the jungle of heat tools! For your fragile and damaged hair, GHD Platinum+ is the best choice. It adjusts the heat according to your hair and styling style, making it extra gentle and reducing the risk of damage If you want a more affordable option, GHD Gold works well too, but it lacks the advanced protection of Platinum+. Chronos/Duet Style is more for you if you want to combine drying and styling in one tool, but it can be oversized if you’re just straightening your hair Platinum+ is perfect for you if you prioritize care and protection for your sensitive hair Good luck!

    Plus or Chronos?

If you use the tool to curl your hair, is Plus recommended or is Chronos better? Anyone who has tested both and can give tips? 😄💜

Hey Anna! The Ghd Platinum+ Styler is perfect for both straight and curly hair, thanks to its advanced technology that adjusts the heat according to the hair's thickness and styling speed. This makes styling gentle and provides long-lasting curls with shine! Chronos (Gold Styler) lacks Platinum+’s heat sensor but is still gentle and affordable for curls. For dynamic heat management, Platinum+ is preferred, but Chronos is a good alternative if you mainly style curly hair and want to keep costs down! Both are appreciated by users, but Platinum+ has an extra plus for advanced heat management – perfect for both straight and curly results! Take care!

The straightener was awesome at first…

I bought the straightener in 2020 and even then I noticed a difference, and it still works which is a plus! I have thick wavy/curly hair, but a little over a year now I've noticed that my hair doesn't stay straight anymore, unfortunately.. since I love ghd products but I guess I’ll have to sell it or give it away. I will go back to my old ghd Max hair straightener instead that was bought in 2019! 🥰🤩

Hallå Aida 🤗 Thank you for sharing your experience with this curling iron. If you have curly and maybe even very thick hair, Ghd Max is a great option. So nice that you found the curling iron that suits you best 🤱🙌

    Thin and short hair?

I’m wondering which flat iron I should buy. I have very thin hair in a short bob hairstyle and mostly use a flat iron to curl the ends in. Should I go for this one or a mini?
