Resveratrol is an antioxidant plant polyphenol that is formed by several plants as a defense against attacks by bacteria and fungi. Perhaps the best-known source of trans-resveratrol is red grapes. The skin and kernels contain this substance, which also finds its way into wine during winemaking.

Alpha Plus has chosen a source that contains higher levels of resveratrol than grapes and this is extracted from Polygonum cuspidatum. This plant contains as much as 50% trans-resveratrol. By using a standardized extract, each capsule contains 300 mg of Polygonum cuspidatum extract of which 50% or 150 mg is trans-resveratrol. With this supplement, you can increase your intake of trans-resveratrol without consuming alcohol in the form of wine. Another advantage is that the product is completely vegan to suit everyone.

Use:
