Herold Solingen Strop With Handle is a combined strop and whetstone. A quality stone with Grit 3200 that is used to coarsely sharpen the razor. The other side is covered in leather suitable for maintaining the razor. Hand held with wooden handle. Made in Germany.

Sharpen both sides of the straight razor by pulling it away from you and towards you on the leather side. If a coarser sharpening is required, use the green side first and then the leather side. Use strop paste to get more precision in the sharpening.
