Effective balm
I tried the hwarangs Bellflower Cleansing Balm that promises to remove makeup, sunscreen and other impurities from skin and also to provide skincare benefits with ingredients such as bell flower and panthenol. The balm comes in a beautiful purple tub with a spatula. Relatively soft formula that melts when rubbed between palms and has a slight purple tint that comes from chamomile oil. I don't feel any scent so that's great. It removes makeup and tinted sunscreen easily. In order to remove waterproof mascara or extremely black ones I feel I need more balm than usual. It washes away easily and leave the skin soft and plumped. I always double cleanse so have no issues with any oil or balmy residue. I have been enjoying using my cleansing balm. It's effective and easy to use. I store my spatula in the tub but I know they have a new packaging's where you can stuck the spatula to the inside of the lid which is thoughtful. - The post was made 3 days

The INCI list on the packaging is always the newest and official one. Current INCI list: Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, synthetic wax, synthetic wax, PEG-10 Isostearate, Guaiazulene, Platycodon grandiflorus root extract, Panthenol, Tocopherol, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Caprylyl Glycol, Eclipta prostrata extract, Melia Azadirachta leaf extract, Moringa Oleifera seed oil, water, glycerin, 1,2-hexanediol, Brassica Oleracea Capitata (cabbage) leaf extract, Solanum Melongena (eggplant) fruit extract, Viola Mandshurica flower extract, ethylhexylglycerin, pantolactone. Also note that the purple/blue shade may vary due to natural colorants, and that any scent comes from the raw materials themselves (no fragrance named Parfum/Fragrance has been added). Foggy eyes..
While i absolutely love this product because of how gentle and efficient it is. I seem to come with the problem while removing any kind of eye makeup somehow the product ends up in my eye. It doesen't sting or you can't really feel it like with other makeup removers but my vision after is very blurry and foggy even after washing eyes a couple times. Effective and pleasant cleansing balm. I love its sorbet-like texture that melts into the skin effortlessly. It removes waterproof mascara and makeup without any issues! Hwarang' Bell Flower Cleansing Balm is a balm that removes makeup, sunscreen and impurities accumulated on the skin during the day, and contains soothing guaiazulene, bell flower extract and panthenol. The balm's lightweight, sherbet-like consistency melts away makeup in an instant, leaving the skin feeling soft and clean and making the cleansing process always easy and pleasant.
Guaiazulene is a beautiful blue extract obtained from chamomile oil, which soothes and repairs the skin, relieving skin irritation and thus strengthening the skin's protective barrier. Guaiazulene's hypoallergenic and antibacterial properties make it also suitable for sensitive and acne-prone skin.
Bellflower is traditional Korean hanbang ingredient that is grown in all provinces of Korea well into the fall. Bellflower is consumed in many ways as side dishes, a food supplement combined with e.g. pear or honey, and as tea, which is often the first way for Koreans to tame a cold or a sore throat.
The saponins, flavonoids and phenolic acid in bellflower fight effectively against inflammation, helping the skin to calm down and regenerate more effectively.
Panthenol or vitamin B5 (provitamin) soothes irritated skin, reduces itching and moisturizes the skin, making it more elastic and soft.
The effective soothing properties as well as the balm's slightly oily but at the same time non-comedogenic (doesn't clog pores) formula make the balm a perfect product for facial oil massage as well. Massage as usual, wash off the balm with water and voilà - the skin feels soft and ready for your skincare routine. Note that the beautiful violet shade varies between batches due to natural plant based extracts that are used to create the shade.
Use the spatula to take a dollop of cleansing balm and warm it up in your hands. Gently massage on a dry face until makeup has completely melted. Use the spatula to do a small gua sha massage by pressing the points on the face where you feel tension.
Wash off the balm with lukewarm water and proceed to the second step of cleansing if desired.
