Silicone suction cups (4 pcs) for cupping massage and trigger point release. The treatment activates the metabolism, reduces muscle tension and releases trigger points, and can reduce cosmetic cellulite. The suction cups are used to create unique negative pressure on soft tissue. Air inside the cup is remove by squeezing the cup as it is placed on the skin, thus causing the soft tissue below the cup to be drawn inside the cup (negative pressure). The packaging includes 4 different sized cups. Use the smallest cup for feet, neck, and arms. Medium sized cups are for shoulders, arms, abdomen, and back. The largest cup is suitable for back and glutes. Detailed instructions included in the packaging.

    Use:
    What is cupping massage?
The suction cups are used to create unique negative pressure on soft tissue. Air inside the
cup is remove by squeezing the cup as it is placed on the skin, thus causing the soft tissue
below the cup to be drawn inside the cup (negative pressure). The massage is performed
    by moving the cups.

What is cupping massage used for?
    - Reducing muscle tension; produces an enjoyable warming sensation
    - Activating the metabolism and the lymphatic circulation
    - Stimulating the circulation
    - Reducing cosmetic cellulite
    - Removal of waste products and fluids
    - Treating pain and acupuncture spots
    - Muscle care following physical activity

    Do not use cupping massage:
    - on babies or small children
    - on the face or genital region
    - on areas of skin that have or have had varicose veins, including ones that have been
operated on, or around superficial blood vessels
    - on areas showing symptoms of skin disease, such as broken skin, cuts, or around moles
    - if you take medication that affects blood coagulation, such as anticoagulants (for
example Marevan), medication that contains acetylsalicylic acid (for example Aspirin,
Disperin), medication that affects the functioning of platelets (for example Clopidogrel),
    or systemic cortisone medication
    - if you have suffered from a blood disease, such as hemophilia, or if you are anemic
    - around hernias, on swollen areas, sprains, or other fresh injuries
    - if you are feverish, feeling weak, or showing other symptoms of inflammatory diseases
    - if you are pregnant (use of cupping massage should particularly be avoided on the
    abdominal and lumbar regions)
    - if you suffer from severe diabetes
    - if you have cancer, heart failure, another arterial or cardiac disease, or another severe
    illness
    - fibromyalgia sufferers should exercise caution

    Cup sizes:
Use different cup sizes on different areas:
    - Smallest cup: feet, neck, and arms
    - Medium cups: shoulders, arms, abdomen, and back
    - Largest cup: back and glutes

    Cleaning
    - To minimize the risk of infection, you should at least disinfect the edges of the cups
    using a disinfectant
    - Wash the cups with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry

    Placing the cup:
    - Smallest cup: Squeeze the cup on the sides and place it on the skin.
    - Medium cups: Place your thumbs on the cup and your other fingers around the
opening of the cup. Press down on the center of the cup and place the cup on the skin
while lifting the edges up --> this creates negative pressure inside the cup.
    - Largest cup: Press your palm on top of the cup and your fingers around the opening
    of the cup.

    Removing the cup
The cup can be removed by pressing down on the skin around the cup or by pulling the
cup and pressing down on the skin, which releases air inside the cup and automatically
detaches the cup. Never attempt to pull the cup off the skin by force! This may cause
    tissue and skin damage.

    Important:
    - Use cupping massage on areas with tension, for a maximum of 2–3 minutes per each
    area. Longer treatment is unadvisable.
    - Always use the massage cups with massage lotion or oil. The cup may not be moved
along the skin without using a lubricating lotion or oil.
    - Begin the treatment by moving sufficiently slowly, applying light negative pressure.
Monitor the sensitivity of the skin and observe the sensations closely. The cup should
not be too tight on the skin (excessive negative pressure), and the treatment should
    not feel uncomfortable.
    - During the treatment, pulling, sucking, or warming sensations may be felt on the skin.
    - The treatment may cause bruising or flushing on the skin that resembles suction marks.

    Suction cup massage
Slide the cup along well-oiled skin while lifting it. Move the cup using rotating or straight
movements. The cup should be lifted up throughout the movement instead of pressing
down. Focus on another area at the latest when the skin begins to flush. Slide to cup in
the direction of lymph nodes, i.e. toward the groin when massaging legs and toward the
armpits when massaging arms. Apply a light negative pressure. Use the massage cups once
or twice per week. As an exception to the above, for cellulite massage the cups are used
daily, beginning with a single session for a period of a few weeks, then moving to two
daily sessions for three to four weeks. With highly sensitive skin, begin slower with fewer
sessions. The treatment is intended to stimulate the metabolism. Therefore, you should
    avoid excessive negative pressure!

    Trigger point release
For trigger point release, the cup is held over a single point for specific period. The point
may be an acupressure point or a trigger point. Trigger point release often leaves a darker
mark on the skin, which disappears within a few days. The trigger point treatment is started
cautiously, using shorter treatment periods. Periodically check the skin for flushing.
Use trigger point treatment on tense areas and trigger points for a period of 30 seconds
at first. In order to prevent severe bruising, start with 30 seconds, and extend the time by
another 30 seconds each time: 1, 1½, 2, 2½, 3 minutes, etc. The duration of treatment
is determined individually, §and the condition of the treated person should be particularly
monitored during the first session. If you prefer stronger suction, press down on the cup
harder to remove more air. Pressure is more important than the size of the cup.

    After use:
    - drink plenty of water after treatment
    - it is completely normal to experience fatigue following treatment even for a few days
    (dizziness may also occur)
    - a warming sensation in the treated area is normal
    - the treatment may improve sleep quality (due to exhaustion of the body)
    - the treatment stimulates the metabolism
    - the skin may be flushed for a few hours or days after treatment
    - WARNING: may cause contusions and bruising
NOTE! In between treatment sessions, the cups should be stored in a dry place,
protected from sunlight. Do not expose the cups to heat. Do not use a damaged or
    brittle cup.
