Kestine is your go-to for those pesky allergy flare-ups like red, watery, and itchy eyes, as well as runny nose, nasal congestion, and sneezing. These annoying symptoms can be triggered by things like pollen, pet dander, dust mites, or dust itself. Kestine is also a lifesaver for anyone sensitive to mosquito bites, especially when you're hanging out in those bug-infested areas.
As an antihistamine, Kestine works its magic by counteracting the effects of histamine. Histamine is a substance in your body that gets released when you're exposed to allergens, leading to runny noses, stuffy sinuses, sneezing, and eye irritation like redness and itchiness. For those who are particularly sensitive, histamine can also cause annoying itching and skin rashes from mosquito bites.
The recommended dosage is 1 tablet once daily in the morning with breakfast for a maximum of 14 days. If your symptoms are more severe, you can bump it up to 2 tablets a day.
Kestine is not suitable for kids under 12 years old.
If you have significantly impaired liver function, stick to just 1 tablet per day. If you want to use Kestine for longer than 14 days, it's best to check in with a doctor to rule out any serious underlying issues.
You can expect relief within 1 hour, and it lasts for a full 24 hours after taking your dose.
If you're allergic to pets, make sure to take Kestine 1 hour before visiting homes with furry friends. For itching from mosquito bites, you'll get the best results if you take Kestine before you get bitten. It's especially effective for those who are super sensitive to mosquito bites. Just a heads up, the relief from itching lasts less than 2 hours, so it won't affect the later stages of itching after a mosquito bite.
