Adds Volume and Helps
I find that this product has helped my thin Scandinavian hair to feel, look, and appear thicker. My hairstylist has commented for many years that my hair feels better and looks fuller. I have sprayed the spray into the scalp on freshly washed hair. I took some sections with about 5 cm in between, especially at the hairline and backward. Then I gently massaged it into the scalp. I haven't sprayed it into the lengths but have used this product more as a scalp treatment. I don't find it gets sticky or gooey as some describe. Maybe they took too much or into the lengths?!? For me, the product line works really well👍🏻 I have used shampoo and conditioner from the same line, about every other wash. Kevin Murphy Plumping.Body.Mess is truly a styling product I like when I want my hair to feel a bit fuller and at the same time achieve a more relaxed, styled look. I especially enjoy products that provide both volume and some texture, because that can do a lot for a hairstyle without needing to do particularly much. 🤍 What I like most about this one is that the result feels more alive. I prefer hair that has some movement and texture instead of everything lying completely flat, and Body.Mess helps create exactly that feeling. I especially like it when I want a slightly messy and effortless look. ✨ I like to use it when my hair needs a bit more shape. The product can be worked in where I want extra volume and texture, and I like that I can build up the result myself depending on the hairstyle I’m going for. Sometimes I just want a bit more life in my hair, while other days I prefer a more clearly styled look. It’s also nice that it doesn’t make me feel like my hair has to lie perfectly. On the contrary, I think it fits when you want that relaxed feeling where a few strands get to do their own thing. 🫶🏼 That can actually make a simple hairstyle feel much more thought-out. I also think Kevin Murphy is really good at making styling products that feel a bit more salon-inspired. The packaging is nice and the product feels luxurious to have out, but at the same time it’s easy to incorporate into your regular hair routine. This is a product I would primarily choose when I want volume + texture + a slightly messy finish. Volume without weighing down
I have Scandinavian thin hair strands that lie hopelessly flat against my head if I don’t style it. This gave me much-needed volume that also lasted all day! Sprayed a generous amount on the scalp (wet hair) and blow-dried. I’ve previously used mousse for volume, but sometimes they can get a bit stiff or sticky in the hair – with this, it doesn’t feel like I have any product in my hair. It doesn’t weigh down, which is important for my thin hair, and I think the volume held better throughout the day. Amazing product
I spray it on towel-dried hair at the roots and massage with a scalp brush and dry with a hairdryer. Gives volume and thickness, and otherwise the hair feels "full". It doesn't get sticky or tangled when dried with a hairdryer! I use the same line of shampoo and conditioner every other wash and every other either metal detox or deep cleansing! Sticky and hair gets tangled
I will not buy this product again. I’m using up what I have out of sheer laziness, and it smells nice. But it leaves a sticky feeling in the hair that then turns into brittleness.
