Hair oil I find really hard to find for my hair. Many oils make my hair greasy, even flatter and dull, so it was with a mix of fear and excitement that I saw I would be testing this oil as a #lykoinflutester. Now I will tell you how it went, but first a little about my hair: • Thin and lacks volume on its own. • Gets greasy quickly at the roots but the lengths remain somewhat dry. • Usually use a small amount of oil both in towel-dried hair and as a finishing touch after styling. About the product: • Perfect packaging that pumps out a suitable amount of oil. • Again, I need to mention the scent as I am not a big fan of citrus/lavender/unisex, but in this case, it works anyway as the scent is not as overpowering as the shampoo/conditioner in the series. • Just the right consistency, easy to warm up and distribute in the hair. • Contains heat protection up to 230 degrees. (Good complement, but I wouldn’t only use this for heat protection.) The result: Impressed! Does not split my hair into greasy strips and does not make my hair greasy. If I take almost a full pump in damp hair and then the same amount when the hair is styled, it gives such a fresh look to the hair. Shiny without weighing down my thin hair in any way! This oil works well with other base products I’ve used, so you don’t need to invest in the whole series to see results! Works, but smells very strong!
I have thin Nordic hair that is a bit bleached in the lengths. Before I started testing the Metal DX series from L’Oréal Professional, my hair was dry and frizzy. It needed both moisture and shine. The oil comes in a nice bottle, with good quality on the pump. It is a bit thick, so if you have thin hair like me, I recommend a small pump in wet hair. Tip!: make sure to "warm"/rub the product well in your hands before applying, so you avoid weighing down the hair or it feeling unevenly distributed. As mentioned in the title, the oil works very well for my hair type. I found that it became shinier and healthier. But.. and this is a big BUT, the entire Metal DX series smells, according to feedback from me, my partner, and several of my friends, veeeery strong!! I simply had to give up testing after a week and a half, as I felt like I was walking around smelling like a men's wardrobe. The series smells very similar to Axe body spray for men, not a scent I personally prefer to be associated with. (I received several comments on this, without anyone knowing I had these products in.) So despite good results on the hair, I can only give it two stars, as the smell became way too intense. #Lykoinflutester #LorealPro

Metal DX Hair Oil
Do you want shiny and beautiful hair? Then this is a product for you! I've been using this hair oil for about a month, and I find that my hair stays nice for a long time! I don't think it weighs my hair down either when used on dry or wet hair. Oil in a new format
I have not had a very positive experience with hair oils. I always felt uncomfortable, my hair seemed greasy. Now I have it, with a masculine scent (for those who are single, the scent of the oil will give the feeling of a man's presence in your hair, like after a hot hug😍). This may be a joke and a warning for people who value or are sensitive to fragrances on their body. This product is like a healing essence, not very similar to oil, dries quickly on hair, softens it even with daily use. Hair looks well-groomed, soft, shiny. I wash my hair once every 4 days. I don't use a flat iron. I dry it with a hair dryer. I am very happy with the result. I recommend it. It supports my porous blonde hair 💪👌 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #LOrealPRO

Very good hair oil that gives a nice result
As a #lykoinflutester, I have now been testing a series consisting of four products from #lorealpro's Metal Dx series for three weeks. I have thick, straight, long, and natural hair. I usually use hair products that I have been recommended here in Lyko's hair test and wash my hair every other day. But it's always exciting to try new products😊 Of the four products in the series, I must say that this hair oil was my favorite. I have switched between the leave-in cream and the hair oil as a finishing touch after shampoo and hair mask. Both do a good job for my hair, but the hair oil is probably the one that gives the best result for my hair. I find it to be more «collecting» for my broken hair strands, making them less prominent. Additionally, it gives a nice and shiny hair. The pump bottle makes it easy to dose the right amount. I warm the oil in my hands before applying it to the ends and the lower part of my hair. Like the rest of the series, the masculine scent is what brings it down for me, even though the oil is probably the one that smells the least of this series and that I could continue to use alongside my regular products.

Lovely hair oil 😍
I have tested this hair oil together with the other products in the same series, and have used it on freshly washed towel-dried hair after showering for a month. I think the hair oil is great for my wavy/curly hair ☺️ It defines the curls and reduces frizz while making the hair shiny ✨ I also think it smells really good, a bit citrusy with some heavier notes at the base. The scent gets better and better throughout the day, especially if I have it in a hair clip. I think it smells amazing when I let my hair down 😍🌸 I also want to say that it feels economical, as I only use two pumps from the bottle for a bit of medium-length hair 😍 I would absolutely recommend this hair oil as a final step in the hair care routine ☺️ #lykoinflutester #lorealpro

Bye Bye frizzy tips!
My hair: I have thin, fine Nordic hair. Dark brown with some sun bleaching. I've never used any hair treatment or similar. My hair routine before I started with this set was shampoo x2, and conditioner. I did this 1-2 times a week. Glass bottle with pump, and nice design? Oh-la-la! I haven't used this every day, as the instructions suggest, simply because I've forgotten it a bit. And a little because I was afraid my hair would become too shiny. On the days I use it, I've taken 2 drops, warmed it up in my hands, and then spread it on the tips of my hair. The oil absorbs quickly and isn't noticeably in the hair shortly after, but what a difference it makes on the tips! Before, my tips were quite dry, and I had never used any products specifically on them. I had actually considered going to the hairdresser for tips, right up until this rescue arrived in the mail! All frizz disappears and the shine comes back. I'm going to enjoy this (and save it considering the price) as much as I can until it's empty! Overall assessment of the series: I forgot to take before and after pictures of my hair, but that was simply because I didn't expect any big difference. But OMG, I never thought my hair could become as healthy and nice as it has! The picture marked «1» was taken after the first use, the picture marked «2» was taken after 1 month of continuous use! My conclusion with this series is that the hair has much less frizz, noticeably less breakage, and more healthy weight. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #LOREALPRO

I have tested #LOREALPRO Metal DX Professional Concentrated Oil for a month and I love how it makes my hair feel and look. 😍 My hair is long, quite damaged at the ends, and has a lot of fine but thin strands. And the oil really helps to make the ends look so nice and fresh. I have always avoided oils as they always just made my hair look greasy 😂 but this one doesn’t! I can even apply it to dry hair, which is a big plus. The citrus scent isn’t my favorite, but it doesn’t last that long 🤩 My hair feels smooth, fresh, and it gives such a nice shine 💖 An even bigger plus is that it has heat protection up to 230 degrees! Super good to use it on towel-dried hair in combination with my heat protection in spray form. I have been testing this series as a lykoinflutester for 3 weeks now. I have thin/dry/colored/striped hair & split ends. First and foremost, the SCENT, the scent of this is incredible!! Smells fresh like lemon/lemon balm and lingers even after the shower. Maybe not a scent for you if you are sensitive. I use this serum after every wash 2-3 times a week but also put a little in dry hair almost every day (if I remember) I usually use 2 pumps for the whole hair (the ends/lengths) I LOVE that it contains heat protection up to 230 degrees. Something I don’t particularly like is the consistency/texture. I find it a bit difficult to work with. I always warm it up between my palms first, but it mostly becomes sticky and gooey in my hand (feels like it disappears and has a bit of a wax feel) I wish it would “melt” more & become “oil” from the heat. How well it helps with broken hair strands etc. probably requires a bit more use from me to see results. Simple packaging, small & good size, but the prices are waaaay too high. The price is probably what makes me not want to buy it again. I’d rather buy the Lanza healing Serum. My hair becomes very smooth and soft from this series, but it’s hard to say which has the most impact, the first thought is the hair mask. This definitely doesn’t weigh down the hair and dries in nicely/quickly. I recommend the shampoo & hair mask every day of the week, I could probably skip this one. As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test the #lorealpro metal DX series. When testing a whole series, it might be a bit difficult to separate which results come from a specific product, but I will try to provide product-specific opinions even though the combination of the whole series itself was worth its weight in gold. About my hair: thick, frizzy, dry in the lengths but gets greasy quickly at the roots. Bleached underneath and then colorful colors on top. I have slightly wavy/curly hair, but unfortunately, bleaching ruins them to my great sorrow! What do I like about the product? The bottle, and I love pump bottles, it feels very hygienic and it's easy to get the right amount of product. The product itself has a good consistency and is easy to work into the hair. I have used the product both on wet hair after showering and also to combat frizz in dry hair, and it works just as well both times. I also think that my hair feels thicker after some time of use and that I don't lose as much hair now, hard to say which product does that or if it's all products in combination. I think it gives a nice shine after use without looking greasy. This time, the products went through a real fire test! The before pictures are before washing, then comes directly after washing, and finally (are you ready now?!) the last picture after 4 hours of driving, 3 hours of hanging at the airport, a full day walk in London's lovely bad weather! The energy was on minus after 32,000 steps and 30 hours awake, but the hair was on point! 🔥🔥🔥. I am also a real citrus person, I simply love it, and the fantastic citrus scent lingered even after the treatment, wow is all I can say! Not even the frizz was too terrible after the intense treatment, so the product really lasts a long time! It is in the slightly higher price category, but sooooo worth it in my opinion, it requires so little product and the result lasts so long. I would say that I used 1-2 pumps 1 time/day and received so much praise for both the scent and appearance of my hair during use.

Great hair oil!
Last assignment as #lykoinflutester for this year and this time I got to try products from L'Oréal Professionnel, Metal DX Serie Expert. I had some mixed thoughts at first since I had tried another line from the same brand that unfortunately wasn't a hit. But here it was jackpot! 😍 This line suited my hair perfectly. My hair is classically Scandinavian. Thin hair strands that easily become dry in the lengths. I have long bleached lengths that occasionally get toned with cool shades. I can easily feel that my hair quickly loses shine and feels lifeless. Next up for review is Metal DX Serie Expert Professional Concentrated Oil 50 ml. ✨ The first thing that appeals to me is the bottle. It feels sleek and pretty. Looks really nice on the bathroom shelf. Small and cute glass bottle with a simple pump. 🤧 I have tried the oil in both wet and dry hair. Personally, I think it works better in wet. Easy to apply and the lengths gratefully accept the nourishing oil. However, I don't get the same feeling in dry hair. I think the product feels straggly when applying. Hard to distribute. I feel that the hair reaches its full potential more in wet hair than afterwards. ✨ I've seen that many are bothered by the scent. But not me. I think it's a wonderful scent! Smells citrusy which I find really fresh and clean. 🤧 The result is fantastic. The hair feels soft and supple. No frizz or lifeless lengths. Gives outstanding shine. ✨ Enough that the product is economical, I've only needed 1 pump for my long hair. But the price is a bit too steep. Personally, I love multifunctional products. Just that I don't like the product in dry hair and because of the price, the oil unfortunately doesn't get full points.
