Not what I was hoping for
I’ve been wanting these for a long time and finally went for it, but I was disappointed. I haven’t bought such "sticks" before, maybe I had the wrong expectations or am doing something wrong? They are very sticky with a greasy surface. The blush has poor pigment (I applied blush and contour with the same pressure in the picture). When I blend it out, you can hardly see anything, and blending less doesn’t work because then I’m sticky. Even after I’ve blended, it still feels a bit sticky. The contour has much more pigment but is just as sticky. A small dab is enough for a large area, but I feel like it’s mostly the warm pigment that remains. Nice colors
I have used these a lot and I have the three pink shades. The colors are very nice, they are easy to blend but I think they feel too oily and heavy on the skin. I wish there was less oil and more color. I think it takes quite a lot of product for the colors to show, and then you can feel the product on the skin, and on my oily skin it can get very shiny and it takes a lot of powder to mattify which creates a cakey result. #lykomission1 product in post Nice colors5 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. IsaDora Blush Stick in 42 Rose Perfection is truly one of those blushes that I find incredibly easy to love. 🌹 I love when blush can make a big difference for the whole face without me having to spend a lot of time applying it, and a blush stick is perfect when I want a quick and simple makeup. What caught my attention with Rose Perfection is the lovely rosy feeling. I think the shade gives the cheeks a fresh and feminine expression and makes the whole face feel a bit more alive. It’s really one of those little details that can make even a fairly simple makeup look much more thoughtful. ✨ I usually apply a little directly on the cheeks and then blend it out with my fingers, a brush, or a sponge depending on the finish I want. I really like that I can start with very little and then build up the color. That way I can get a subtle result for everyday or add more when I want the blush to really show. I also think the stick format makes the product very convenient. I don’t need to mess around with a bunch of tools or open several different products. A few strokes on the cheeks and then blend – done. It’s perfect when I’m in a hurry in the morning or just want to do a simple makeup without standing in front of the mirror forever. 💕 Rose Perfection is also a color that I think works really well with the rest of my makeup. I like to combine it with a bit of bronzer to add warmth to the face and then put a small amount of highlighter on top. That way the cheeks get both color and a little extra dimension. What I appreciate most about blush is still how much it can change the overall look. I can have a pretty neutral base and very simple eye makeup, but as soon as I add a little blush, the face instantly feels fresher. With Rose Perfection, I get just that rosy touch that I think makes the makeup look more alive. 🌸 I also think it works well when I want to create different types of looks. A little product gives a soft everyday feel, while several thin layers can give a more defined and glamorous look. That means I can use the same blush no matter my mood.
