Makeup holds up through everything 🌟
Makes the makeup sit like a rock 🗻✨ This setting spray makes my makeup withstand EVERYTHING. Bad weather, sweat, rubbing, water… The makeup becomes truly indestructible 😆 The spray applies nicely and evenly, and I don’t feel it on my face. It dries down immediately and is neither sticky nor tacky. I should add that I’m sparing with the product and only do one layer, but that’s more than enough! ❤️ The makeup looks incredibly nice! You get a fantastic glow and everything melts together in a magical way. Real airbrush feel. ✨ However, the product has a strong scent, think “hairspray.” It smells absolutely good, but if you’re sensitive to scents, it’s good to know that the scent lingers for quite a while. You also have to be careful not to open your eyes too quickly after application as there’s a “fog” in the air that stings the eyes. 😅 I haven’t had any reaction to the product, but it feels harsher on the skin than other setting sprays I’ve tried, which is probably also why the makeup becomes unshakeable. So maybe not something to use every day if you have sensitive or dry skin, but let it rest in between. ☺️ But if you want your makeup to really hold, this is the product for it! 🌟 For events, parties, or if it’s rainy, this will be PERFECT. Strong smell and stiff feeling
I was unfortunately disappointed by this product. As many have described before, it smells like hairspray and feels like hairspray on the face, the skin becomes tight. Since you spray it all over the face, it doesn't feel healthy to breathe in this product. The makeup holds up okay, but the feeling of the spray and its heaviness significantly lowers the rating. Didn’t expect this outcome

Despite the hype, it didn’t keep my makeup in place as expected. I tested it with multiple application methods: * Over a full coverage makeup routine * Over very minimal skincare * Even on bare skin with no foundation In every case, my makeup still shifted throughout the day. The biggest issue was that after about 4 hours of wear, my skin developed noticeable flaking and —something that only happens when I use this setting mist. I have combination skin (oily in some areas, dry in others) and medium-to-deep brown skin, so the flakes were especially visible and made my makeup looked ashy or my almost blush out of place. The aerosol mist is very fine and dries quickly, which I liked, but the formula felt too drying for my skin type. The high alcohol content may be what causes the tightness and flaking. L’Oréal markets it as transfer-resistant for up to 36 hours, but in my experience it did not prevent makeup movement and actually worsened the overall finish by the end of the day. This didn’t work at all for me, so I want to give a "heads up" to all of us who are dry. The base will crack and you will feel terribly dry, like you can’t make a single expression. Sets makeup in place but smells like hairspray
The setting spray does its job when it comes to longevity, the makeup stays better and moves less throughout the day. But unfortunately, the overall impression is significantly lowered by the scent. It smells strongly of hairspray, very chemical, which makes the application less pleasant. The feeling when spraying is also somewhat stiff after a while, and the face can feel a bit tight before the product has completely dried. Even though the scent fades after a while, it leaves a first impression that doesn't feel particularly nice. Overall, it works well but I expected a fresher formula and a more pleasant user experience. The picture below shows the makeup after about 6 hours. Perfect spray
I have now used the L’Oréal Paris Infaillible 3-Second Setting Mist 75 ml on three different occasions – a regular weekday, a longer day at work, and a night out. The first impression was that the spray is very finely distributed and light, it doesn’t feel wet or sticky on the skin. I love that the spray is like hairspray and distributes really well. It dries quickly (within a few seconds) and leaves a natural finish without making the skin stiff. The makeup stayed in place significantly better than without setting spray, especially around the nose and chin where I usually get shiny. I also find that it prevented makeup stains on my clothes. I received the setting spray via Smartson to test - it smells good, but it's a bit too strong for a setting spray. I have no others to compare it to, but it keeps the makeup in place. Test pilot smartson
I have been a test pilot at Smartson. I think the product has a nice design and is easy to use. It does what it’s supposed to do, but what brings down the rating are the ingredients that are not so gentle and that it smells very much like perfume. I don’t want to spray perfume directly on my face and prefer when a face mist is also good for the skin. But it keeps the makeup in place!438 views
