    I always have problems with my makeup breaking up and getting cakey, but this setting spray is probably the craziest thing I've ever tried. It looks EXACTLY the same the WHOLE day. Not patchy or cakey anywhere and I don't get any creasing either, which I always do. Urban Decay and everything else can throw themselves at the wall😍😍😍

    What is this?

    Naaah, not my thing. I had expected great support after various good reviews on different sites, so I thought I’d give it a try. Not only did I get a shower, but it was very wet for a while after spraying, so I had to help out by drying a bit. I’ve tested it as a base after primer and of course after makeup. The makeup stays - yes, but there’s something in the spray that makes it feel heavy (?) on the face. The pictures don’t do the moisture justice, it was SOAKED after one spray. I like a lot of other things from NYX, but unfortunately, this one doesn’t make the cut.

      Hey Claudia Amanda 🌞 Thank you for your honest review! The Face Glue is really made for super strong hold, but it can get a bit wet if you use too much. To get a lighter feel, it can be good to shake the bottle well and spray from a distance, so you get an even mist. If you want something that feels lighter and dries more matte, the Matte Finish spray might be a better alternative 🥰 All the best!

    What’s the hype?

    I don’t really get the hype with this? Sure, the makeup sets like a rock, it really does. …But it makes the makeup base crack/flake, so the makeup looks shabby after a while. I first thought I had used too much, so I tried using less but got the same result then. I also find it annoying that the contents of the bottle separate when it’s left standing between uses. It’s also hard to mix it again even if you struggle to shake the bottle. I prefer the NYX setting spray “01 matte finish” over this. If you instead want the same setting effect as glue, but without negative impact on the makeup, I recommend Urban Decay “all nighter.”

    Error in dosing

    Unfortunately, it sprays so strongly in a stream that I can't use the product. I have tried to clean the pump, but there is something wrong with the dosing because it doesn't get better. It's sad that it ruins the makeup because you get a stream right in the face 😩

    Nyx setting spray

    I have acne-prone skin, so I've always had trouble finding an affordable setting spray. But this one is so good! I've been using it for about 2 months now and it makes my makeup so glowy. I really recommend it!!

    Is this good if the makeup runs off because you sweat??? I have combination skin, but the problem is sweating.

    Pretty okay

    I think it creates a “hairspray film” over the skin and I’m not sure if I think it holds the makeup very well. I’ve also combined it with the primer but I think it’s like any other setting spray.
