    Stronger Nails

    I've used this three times and I'm positively surprised! It has been a lifesaver for me as I have slightly weaker nails. The consistency is thin and easy to apply, which makes it dry quickly.     Temporary fix

    The consistency is totally okay. The smell isn't that bad, but it doesn't do the job. I would say it holds the nail together for at most 2 days. This is not something I would call a quick fix. Even though I applied the product, the nail wasn't what I would call fixed. It was more of a temporary fix as I noticed that my nail wasn't held together by the product for longer than 2 days. This is for a fix that you might need for 1-2 days but not a long-term solution. However, I want to say that it did an okay job of being discreet under nail polish.     A new friend in the bag :)

    Finally, I dare to let my nails grow longer! What a superb idea for a product! My first impression when I received the product was that it comes in a nice, small, and sleek packaging with a modern design. The product itself has a practical design, with a slimmer shape and is not too big, which makes it perfect to have in the bag or toiletry bag as a quick fix if you're not at home and want to save a nail. It's easy to hold and apply. The brush is not like regular nail polish; instead, it is smaller and more compact for better application and precision. Really a plus for me, as I usually have shaky hands. The scent is like regular nail polish, and the durability is 24 months after opening, which is very good for a product that you don't use as often. Therefore, it is really worth the price. I have long wanted long, beautiful, and natural nails but have struggled with it because I have weak nails. There's always one that breaks or chips, and then I cut all my nails short to start over because I don't want asymmetrical nails. I got tired of this problem and stopped trying to grow my nails out, but now I finally dare to start again! So far, I've only had time to test it on my pinky nail, which broke a little on the side, and it worked well with two layers.     Easy to use

    I really like this product, so easy to use with a smooth, narrow brush. The consistency is good, but you have to keep an eye on it so you don't take too much, as it tends to drip before you reach the nail. It really feels like the nail becomes more stable after application. Works best on small cracks, but can also help with larger cracks, at least so you can manage until you get home and can take care of the big crack more. The only negative thing I have to say is actually the smell, which I think reminds me of monomer, but luckily the smell disappears quite quickly.     Quick Fix, Lifesaver in a pinch

    I got to try the product for free through Smartson. Easy to apply and dries quickly. You have to keep an eye on it so it doesn't drip from the stick since a lot of product gets stuck there. The small brush makes it easy to paint exactly where you want, even though the brush is slanted so you can choose how much product you want. I had to use 3-4 layers to feel satisfied. It held up well until I could fix the nail. Works great under other nail polishes. I will definitely continue to use the product regularly.     Strengthens nails

    Quick Fix

    I find that the product has been easy to apply and I appreciate that it dries quickly. Very grateful when you want to get your nails done but suddenly a nail breaks a little and you don't want to have to clip the whole thing off.     Savior in need!

    I tested Essie break fix liquid this week and was positively surprised. I had a nail that broke quite far down, which often happens since I work in a warehouse. There was a small crack, so I tested the product on that area. It was easy to apply and didn't feel too thick or sticky, nor too weak or runny as I thought. A few days after application, the nail actually hadn't cracked any further. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the nail, but I hope you, the reader, believe me. The product dries quickly and works well on its own as it is. It really got a proper test on my warehouse nail, and I was positively surprised by how strong the nail felt. I would say that this product is a good alternative to have on hand when a nail breaks in an unfortunate place.     Very good and smooth fix!

    I have now tried Essie break fix. Did it with 2 thin layers on bare nails. I have nails that split, so I thought it was exciting to see if it can hold them together before they completely break. So far, it actually seems to work well. However, I haven't tried it on a real tear yet. Convenient bottle to carry and a small thin brush that makes it easy to apply thin layers with precision on the area.     Super great quick-fix!

    I often get small cracks in my nails right where they grow out, so this felt like a lifesaver. The formula is thin but doesn't run away, which made it easy to hit the right area. I pressed the nail together with a toothpick while it dried, and after two layers, the nail actually felt stable again. It doesn't build thick and is hardly visible under polish. It held the nail together until it could grow out without me needing to cut everything down. Very handy product to have at home!     When the nail has already cracked

    I used Essie Break Fix when I got a crack in one of my nails. The crack was quite far down, and I wanted to avoid cutting off the whole nail. When I applied the polish, it felt like it laid down a protective layer over the crack. The nail became immediately more stable and didn't catch on clothes as easily. After a few days of use, I noticed that the crack didn't worsen. The product doesn't repair the nail, but it strengthens and protects while it grows out. I think it worked well as a temporary fix.     Saves cracked nails!

    I have used this on two occasions, once to "build on" a "striped", slightly sunken nail and once to fix a broken tip. I absolutely think the nail polish helps and does what it’s supposed to do, but I find the process to be very fiddly and time-consuming when it comes to repairing a chipped nail or a tip that has cracked. Use:
For optimal results, follow these simple steps on a bare nail:
