When Essie Weingarten started the company Essie in 1982, she had been incredibly interested in nail polish since her childhood. That she would start making nail polish herself was therefore just a matter of time, and there is no doubt that she knew what she was doing. Around the United States her products are used by no less than 50,000 skilled spa and beauty salons, and her products are sold in over 40 countries. What distinguishes Essie's nail polish is the curiosity, imagination and boundlessness - there’s not a color that is too much or that can’t be matched with anything. At Lyko you will find a large selection of Essie's nail polishes at very nice prices. Do as Madonna, Cindy Crawford and Sharon Stone; use Essie!
it's a nice color but I think it's darker in reality than in the picture. There are some small glitters in it. Holds really well, about 6-8 days depending on what you do during the days.
Underneath is one coat of Essie "licorice" nail polish and on top is one coat of Essie "ethereal escape" nail polish
One picture outside in sunlight and another from my workplace's very well-lit hall
More about this "ethereal escape" nail polish:
✧ Depending on the lighting, the polish shows blue and purple shades on your nails, but more bluish/cool
✧ The nail polish is easy to remove from the nail, the glitter is very fine and doesn't drill into the nail
✧ Normal Essie quality, the polish stays well on the nails, the polish in the pictures is 3 days old (and I do work where my hands are put to the test every day :D)
