wow wow glow

World's worst crap in a bottle
I have tried many different primers over the years that have been bad, but this one was worse than the worst. It totally crumbles on the face, and the makeup becomes a total disaster. I will never spend money on this again. You hardly need to blend it out with a brush, just dab where you want it, then use your fingers or a sponge to blend it out a bit. I use my fingers and dab it out, think it works best. Good luck!

✨💚 A primer for both glow and really good longevity!
I've really become curious about Milk Makeup Hydro Grip + Glow Primer! This is the kind of primer that feels perfect when I want glow but also want the base to stay put properly. 🥹✨ The first thing I like is that it combines two things I really want in a primer: it gives the skin a soft, radiant glow while helping the makeup to adhere. Milk claims up to 12 hours of wear, and the formula contains, among other things, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and aloe water. 🤍 I usually take 1-2 pumps, apply a thin layer on moisturized skin, and then let it rest for about a minute before applying foundation. That little wait is actually important because the grip activates when the primer sets. ✨ And the glow! 😭💚 I think the skin gets such a nice, almost golden hour-like radiance. It's not the same as applying a thick layer of highlighter – more like the skin looks fresher and more hydrated under the base. I also like that it feels light on the skin. Even though the name includes Grip, I don't find it to be as extremely sticky as some grip primers can be. Milk also describes it as silicone-free and 96% naturally based. But here comes the little warning. 👀 It seems to be quite sensitive to how you apply it. Lyko reviews are very mixed: some get fantastic glow and long wear, while others experience the primer crumbling and making the whole base patchy. Lyko themselves have suggested using a smaller amount, letting skincare absorb properly, and then dabbing on the makeup instead of rubbing. So I would definitely not pile on the product. Thin layer + let it set + dab on foundation seems to be the key. 🥹 30 ml also feels like a good amount since it seems quite economical. One Lyko user states that barely two pumps are enough and describes both the glow and longevity as fantastic. For me, this is a primer that feels really exciting if you want that glowy, juicy base but still want your makeup to last long. Money down the drain 💸
I bought Milk Hydro Grip + Glow because I love the original Hydro Grip and thought: why not get a little extra glow with it? I was completely sure it would be amazing, but I think I've never been so disappointed in a product. It literally feels like throwing money into the lake. It gives no nice effect at all, the makeup gets cakey, and after just a few minutes the product starts to crumble on the skin and everything looks patchy. I've tried to make it work, but the result is just as bad every time. Really disappointing, especially since I had such high expectations. I see many give this negative criticism. It is a bit difficult to apply, I agree, but with a generous amount that isn’t worked in too much and then letting it dry properly, it becomes great! Then it doesn’t crumble or crack. And the glow is absolutely amazing. Very bad, do not recommend. The entire makeup crumbled off like a crumble pie. Followed the packaging instructions exactly and tried with very moisturized skin, slightly moisturized, and none at all. Looks so promising
Now I have tried using this several times with different foundations, BB and CC creams, and various skincare routines and products beforehand, but this does not work for me at all. It makes all products flake off/not set, and my makeup often ends up as a total disaster with a patchy/crumbly nose and cheekbones completely without product, regardless of whether I use a sponge, brush, or fingers. Worst primer
Absolutely the worst primer I have ever tested. Tried it with tons of different foundations, different skin care products, and even no products underneath, it dries quickly and gets patchy and ALWAYS crumbles.
