Wow!!
This shampoo has saved me! I've been using this series for a year now and wow! After going through a fairly significant weight loss relatively quickly, I started losing an extreme amount of hair. I thought maybe it was just a phase you sometimes go through, but I lost hair for months. After a shower, there was A LOT of hair that came out!! I felt a bit desperate and thought okay, I'll try this series with shampoo and conditioner because I have to try to do something! I can say that already after a few weeks, I started to get a kind of mohawk with hair on my head from hair strands that started growing out again! After just one or two washes, I barely lost any hair at all after the shower!! The shampoo also feels so fresh because it has a bit of a mint scent and a cooling sensation when you massage it in, which I love! The bottle is big and lasts a long time!! The product is concentrated, and I've had the same bottle for 8 months before it ran out, and I always shampoo twice. Can't recommend this product more, it's so amazing!! Nioxin System 3 is quite a cleansing shampoo, so since you wash your hair every other day and also shampoo twice each time, it can definitely contribute to the hair feeling drier. I would try shampooing only once per wash and see how the hair feels. The comment was made 3 monthsHello Sandra! 👋 If you have highlighted or colored your hair, it is generally better to switch to Nioxin System 3 rather than continuing with Nioxin System 2. The difference between these two is that System 2 is for natural, uncolored hair with noticeably thinner hair, while System 3 is for colored or chemically treated hair (including highlights) with thin or thinner hair. Since highlights are considered a chemical treatment, I would recommend you try System 3. It is designed to cleanse the scalp while being more suited to help preserve color and care for treated hair. I bought system 3 because I have very thin hair. After using it just a few times, I feel like I'm losing significantly more hair and have even gotten a bald spot at my temple. I've also become red on my forehead/at the hairline when I've used it. It hasn't itched or become irritated in any other way. Is this normal?
