Hi, I dyed my hair 1 year ago and it has grown out quite a bit. I thought that instead of dyeing the roots, I could just dye all my hair to my natural hair color, which is dark brown. Did not work on my hair
Unfortunately, this hair dye was the worst I've ever tried.. It was obviously a gamble on my part, I got my hopes up through a little research on reviews. But I do not recommend it, absolutely nothing happened even though I tried to dye it several times as they recommended in the instructions.. A bit darker than Brown copper
Hi! I've been using this product for a long time now since my scalp can't handle regular chemical dye, and I'm so incredibly satisfied! Since I've unfortunately become more and more gray-haired, I wish to upgrade to a bit darker than Brown Copper, which color do you recommend? Radico Organic Hair color is a 100% organic certified hair dye made from henna and herbs. The results last for about 4-6 weeks. One package is enough for waist-length hair.
Each package includes:
- 100 g of color powder
- Disposable plastic gloves
- Disposable plastic cap
- Brush
- Instructions (in Swedish).
Gray hair:
This organic hair color doesn’t penetrate the hair strands like chemical dyes do; instead, it wraps around each strand, giving you strong and shiny hair. So, while it won’t completely cover gray hair, it’s perfect for softening the contrast between gray and non-gray hair. The black shade darkens gray hair, while white strands take on a light gray hue with blue undertones.
Chemically treated hair:
If you’ve recently dyed your hair with chemical colors or regularly use chemical products (like hair care or styling), you’ll get the best results with at least 2 applications. The first dyeing acts as a pre-treatment, breaking down and washing away the chemicals. Subsequent applications will give you more vibrant color results.
Suitable for:
Everyone, but we don’t recommend dyeing light blonde to ash-colored hair with dark brown or black shades, as this could lead to a greenish or bluish result. Feel free to read more here. NOTE: Do not use if you are allergic to henna or any of the herbs. Always do a strand test. Conduct an allergy test 48 hours before your first dyeing by mixing a small amount of the dye and applying it to, for example, your inner elbow.
Usage:
Before you start, make sure to read the instructions carefully. Mixing your hair color: You can mix powders of different shades for a unique color result. Combine the powder in a bowl (not metal) with warm water, using 1 part powder to 3 parts water. Gradually add water until you achieve a yogurt-like consistency.
- Short hair: 20-30 g of powder
- Shoulder-length hair: 40-60 g of powder
- Waist-length hair: 70-100 g of powder
Dyeing:
Use the included brush or a hair dye brush/comb. Start applying the paste at the roots and work your way through the lengths; gray hair may need a bit more paste. Once you’ve applied the color all over, put on the included plastic cap. Wait at least 45-60 minutes before rinsing out the dye; for darker shades, you can wait longer—it's safe to leave the color in for up to 2-3 hours. You can apply heat with a hairdryer to intensify the results. Rinse your hair until the water runs clear. Shampoo if needed. Radico's organic hair color can be easily washed off skin and clothes with mild soap.

Tips:
You can dye your hair 2-3 times with 24 hours in between each application for a more intense result. Note that some shades may darken slightly (oxidation) after a few days. Seal the package if you have leftover hair color powder. Store in a cool, dark place until your next dyeing session.
