      Hi Vilde 🌿 Thanks for your question – we totally understand that it can be hard to choose when both cleansers seem relevant! Based on what you describe with pimples and "closed comedones" on your forehead, brows, and hairline, the CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser is often the best choice. It contains salicylic acid (BHA) which effectively dissolves sebum and dead skin cells inside the pores – exactly what helps with the type of bumps and clogged pores you describe. The SA Smoothing Cleanser also contains salicylic acid, but is a bit milder and more targeted towards rough skin and bumps on the body or with keratosis pilaris. It’s better suited if you are sensitive or need a gentler cleanse. So: – Blemish Control = more targeted towards pimples and clogged pores on the face. – SA Smoothing = a bit milder, more suitable for general roughness or sensitive skin. Hope this makes the choice a little easier! 💙

    Do you have to use sunscreen when using this product? I have dark skin and when I use sunscreen it makes my skin darker and that's why I don't use sunscreen. Otherwise, I am very happy with the product and it has helped me.

    I have used this together with the SA cleanser and noticed a clear difference. Even though I have never had acne skin, I do get pimples occasionally, but now after 1.5 months of use, only 1 pimple has appeared. I haven't noticed a difference with other impurities on my skin, but no pimples are coming :)
