I have long struggled with dry lips and have tried everything from regular lip balms to Carmex – but they just made my lips even drier and gave a feeling of addiction. Torriden Lip Essence is completely different! It provides real moisture, makes my lips soft, and I don’t have to apply all the time. It also doesn’t contain perfume, which I really appreciate with sensitive skin. I love lip balms, and I have tested quite a few. I really wanted to like this, but it didn't work for me. Never again
I have bought this twice, but after about a week it starts to smell strange and made my lips drier and sore. I even got sores inside my mouth from it. At first, I thought it was a production defect with the first one I bought, so I bought another. The exact same thing happened. When I stopped using it, my lips got better again. The Torriden SOLID IN Ceramide Lip Essence is actually fragrance- and scent-free, but the taste can be perceived as a bit «rar» due to the base of balms and oils. If the taste bothers you, it might be wise to try a thinner layer or use it as a night mask and wipe off the excess in the morning. For more moisture, it can also help to lightly exfoliate before application, and apply a thin layer often throughout the day. If your lips are very dry, you can finish with a more occlusive balm.
