    Mild but effective C-vitamin for sensitive skin

    I had the opportunity to test the CeraVe Skin Renewing Vitamin C Serum via Smartson and am positively surprised by the result. The serum feels light on the skin, absorbs quickly, and does not irritate at all, which is a big plus for sensitive skin. The skin looks fresher and more even, and I experience a nice glow after a few weeks of use. I also appreciate that it contains ceramides that strengthen the skin barrier and help the skin retain moisture. The scent is mild and the consistency pleasant. A good alternative for those who want an effective but gentle vitamin C serum. I only take off one star due to the price.

      Hey Sandra 😊 This serum is made with a focus on anti-aging and provides more nourishment, and the other is made to work on acne scars plus contains more niacinamide. Retinol should always be introduced in the evening regardless of which one you choose as everyone reacts differently, even to milder variants like these two. Wishing you a nice day ⛄

    Lovely serum!

    Really lovely retinol serum! The product spreads and absorbs well and leaves the skin feeling really hydrated. Lightweight texture and fragrance-free, which is a plus. The condition of my skin has clearly improved during the trial period, I would definitely buy the product again. The review was made on behalf of Smartson - I got to try the product for free.

    Perfect before night cream

    I got to test the product for free via Smartson, what a luxury right! I really liked the serum, I used it as a serum before night cream and I feel like my skin has become calmer (despite Christmas, with all that it entails with food and stress). Highly recommend!

    I have been a little cautious, but not using it too much so my skin wouldn't start to flake like it sometimes has from certain retinol products, but this one has worked really well. I used it every third night, then every other night the last week. I think it's too short a time to say if it helps with fine lines, but my skin feels hydrated and fresh anyway.
