    There’s nothing better!

    I have been a fan of the original sunscreen from the same brand, so I was very excited about this one too when I ordered it. I have sensitive combination skin that tends to react to new products, but I didn’t react to this sunscreen at all⭐ It feels light on the skin, absorbs quickly, and gives a neutral (more matte than glowy) finish on the skin. No whitecast and sits beautifully under makeup! This is the best sunscreen I have tested so far, and I will probably use it regularly from now on 🥰 #lykoreview

    Don't like the finish

    Unpopular opinion, but I hate the finish of this sunscreen. It's horrible under makeup. Any foundation/corrector I tried is patchy and uneaven on top of it and starts pilling right away. I absolutely love the original Beauty of Joseon sunscreen, so I was quite disappointed with this one. It's fine as long as I don't wear anything else on that day, but even then, I just don't love the texture of my skin after applying this.

      I've noticed that this sunscreen can flake a bit if I keep spreading it while it dries on my skin, so I switch to patting it in instead. After it has dried properly, it doesn't flake anymore even if I rub my face. Maybe you can wait a bit longer before applying foundation, or that the foundation might mix with the sunscreen underneath and cause it to flake when it dries again while you blend it in?

    Sooo good

    This version is significantly thinner and more runny than the original "Relief Sun." It almost feels like a light serum rather than a cream, which makes it absorb into the skin in just a few seconds. It leaves absolutely no white residue and gives a natural, almost matte finish that feels fresh rather than greasy, making it ideal for those with combination to oily skin or for warm summer days. The formula with rice water and panthenol (B5) provides an immediate moisturizing sensation without clogging pores. It works excellently under makeup as it doesn’t pill as easily as heavier sunscreens can. Many also find that it doesn’t sting the eyes, which is a big plus for daily use. The downside is that it can feel too light if you have very dry skin; in that case, you will probably miss the rich, protective feeling of the original. Some users have also reported that it can start to crumble if applied too quickly over too many other skincare layers or if reapplied too frequently during the day.

    I love it!

    I bought this because I love the second sunscreen from Beauty of Joseon, which is a bit thicker than this one. It's pleasantly fresh and light. It spreads easily on the skin and leaves a dewy finish. I will be buying this in the summer when I need a lighter sunscreen. However, during the winter, I use a thicker sunscreen, namely Beauty of Joseon Rice + Probiotics, because this one doesn't hydrate enough when it's really cold. #lykoreview

    Moisturizing without clogging, but...

    It rolls off enormously when I try to reapply, even though I haven't used any serum or other skincare product before the sunscreen, hence 3 stars instead of 5.
