Messy Color
I previously tried the Tanrevel Self-tan Mousse Dark Cool, but I didn’t think it was either dark or cool, and almost all the color (the little I got) ran off in the shower. So now that Ultra dark came, I had to test it to see if it IS darker and better. That this one has a higher concentration of DHA sounds promising. This mousse smells good, is light green in color, is light in consistency, and dries at a reasonable speed. Good guide color, not too dark, but you can still clearly see what you’re doing. A bit of the typical BUS smell comes after a few hours, but not much at all. The first time I applied one layer and let it sit overnight, but I barely saw any difference, so Ultra dark is definitely not that! I applied another layer, let it dry, applied another layer, and then let it sit for over 13 hours before I showered. Before the shower, I looked very brown, but a lot of the color ran off in the shower. So it had to be one more layer. The advantage of this mousse is that I can use it even on my face. I haven’t experienced any itching or breakouts. ☀️ Smells barely like BUS ☀️ Doesn’t give me a yellow tone ☀️ Dries at a reasonable speed ☀️ Can be used on the face, even if you are sensitive ☀️ Doesn’t transfer once it’s dried 🌧️ Required many layers to give me a clear result 🌧️ Gets stuck in the pores on my décolletage, which makes me look spotty 🌧️ A lot of color runs off in the shower Tip! This seems to work best if you apply one layer, let it sit for a selectable number of hours, rinse off, moisturize, wait, apply a new layer, rinse off, etc. Since I have to apply many layers to get a clear “tan,” this one becomes very non-economical. Even though the price is reasonable, one bottle won’t last very long. Also sad that so much of the color runs off in the shower, despite all the preparations, etc. according to the rules of the art. If there had been a bit more “powder” in this, it could have been really, really good. Because the name is misleading in my opinion. #lykoreview46 viewsto leave a comment

Use:
Exfoliate the skin with Tanrevel® Exfoliating Scrub and moisturize generously 24 hours before application for an even and long-lasting result. Shake the bottle well and apply the mousse with Tanrevel® Self Tan Mitt in circular motions. Start with the larger skin areas and then use the remaining product on the mitt for drier areas such as elbows, knees, feet, and hands. The color develops gradually over 3–6 hours and is then rinsed off. The guide color immediately shows where you have applied and makes it easy to achieve an even result. For an even deeper tone, apply multiple layers.
