can this be used with vitamin c and possibly niacinamide? when and how should I use the different ones.. atm I’m using a day cream with vitamin c, is that smart or should I rather have a serum? should I use something in the evening and something during the day?Translated from norwegian
232 views- Skin therapist at Lyko1 weekHi Alva 👋 To use The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2%, Vitamin C serum, Niacinamide serum, and a moisturizer with Vitamin C, it’s important to set up a routine that maximizes the effectiveness of the products while avoiding irritation 💪 ‼️ Rule of thumb: Don’t use everything at once, and avoid combining active ingredients that can irritate the skin. Here, I don’t have insight into your age, skin type/condition, which specific products you are using - or a picture of your skin as of today. This means I don’t have the ability to provide a definitive answer regarding when and how the products should be used together, and which products are best suited for you and your skin as of today 🙌 In this case, I would absolutely recommend you take our free skin test so I can review your skin and product usage! Then I can set up a tailored recommendation for you with the order of application and similar 😍 You can find the skin test in our app under the "beauty Scan" section. ‼️ Important tips: - Don’t use salicylic acid and vitamin C together in the same routine – it can irritate and make vitamin C less effective. - Don’t use vitamin C and niacinamide in the same routine unless your skin is used to it – some can tolerate it, but many experience irritation. - Introduce new products gradually – especially acids. Wishing you a great day ahead 🥰

A question
Can I use this product and let it sink in for a few minutes and then apply (The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 30 ml) in my evening routine? And should I apply this all over my face or specifically on the areas where I have pores 🫶🏽Translated from swedish
659 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHey there! ❤️ Yes, you can use Salicylic Acid 2% first and then Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% in your evening routine. Apply it all over your face if your skin can handle it, otherwise just on problem areas. Feel free to start every other evening and always moisturize and use SPF during the day! 🌙✨ Take care! ❤️

So so
I haven't noticed any improvement on my pores with this product. I find that the following products give better results (not used at the same time): • Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% • Direct Acids AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution 30 ml I use The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 60 ml, and it has made a noticeable difference by reducing swellings like pimples, redness, and small bumps. Now I no longer have raised, swollen pimples. Despite this, my pores continued to be visible and dark. I started using this product (not at the same time as Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%), but unfortunately, I haven't seen any noticeable change. I either applied this product in the evening after washing and Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% in the morning after washing (and UV protection during the day), or I used the products every other day. I've noticed that if I completely exclude Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, I get small bumps, especially on my forehead. So I feel so far summarized that this product was not necessary for me.Translated from swedish

Salicylic or...
Hey I have acne-prone combination skin and have had medical help with this that hasn't worked. Now I don't use any of it, but I'm left with scars from all the acne. There are discolorations as well as "ice pick" scars. I still have acne from time to time, but it's not too bad. But I've noticed that when I stop using this product, the pimples come back almost immediately. My questions are how do I get rid of the discolorations, and should I use this product or is there something else instead, or something to combine with this to stay as acne-free as possible? I also use Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%.Translated from swedish
1728 views- Skin therapist at Lyko2 monthsAzelaic acid has many benefits for the skin, especially for acne, scars, and uneven skin tone; antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It also helps to keep the pores clean. Peels easily, so it also works on the structure of acne scars and hyperpigmentation. Also for sensitive and reddened skin. Yes, a fantastic acid simply!1 likes

Confused my skin
It didn't remove my blackheads and just caused a lot of rashes and small pimples everywhere on my face. I've been struggling with my skin for several years and had very nice skin before I used this. Now my skin is completely chaotic. This serum is going in the trash and I don't even dare to give it away to anyone…Translated from swedish

Does Salicylic Acid work if I use C vitamin serum + niacinamide and Caudalie day and night?Translated from swedish
1343 views- Customer service at Lyko3 monthsHi Angelika! I would recommend you to use Salicylic Acid only in the evening together with niacinamide. Then you can use your vitamin C serum during the day ✨ Take care! 💗

Blackheads
Is this good for blackheads? If not, which The Ordinary serum do you recommend?Translated from swedish
1350 views- Customer service at Lyko3 monthsHey Neda!🤍✨ Yes, The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution is effective against blackheads as it dissolves oil in the pores and exfoliates the skin. Another option is this serum 👇 lyko.com/sv/the-ordinary/the-ordinary-niacinamide-10--zinc-1 It contains niacinamide (B3) to reduce pores and even out skin tone, as well as zinc to balance oil production🫧 Take care!🙌2 likes
