Best😍
I've been using this product for almost 2 years now, and it has kept my face really clean and clear. Before this, I suffered a lot from impurities and oily skin. Now I don't have those issues, and my face is in such good condition. 😍🤩 #lykoreview2285 views - The post was made 5 days
Salicylic Acid and Other Acids Together
Hi! My skin is prone to hormonal acne. I've had to resort to medication a few times. But now I've found Hyaluronic Acid and most recently Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serums. My skin's condition has already improved significantly! I still have some small bumps under the skin, and acne-typical pimples pop up now and then, especially along the jawline and occasionally on the cheeks. So I would like to try this product as well. How is it good to use with the aforementioned acids? I would guess that salicylic acid is used in the evenings, but can other acids be used at the same time? Or just toner + salicylic acid + cream / facial oil. How many times a week is it good to use this? I also have a toner that contains AHA acid, which I've used a couple of times a week? How does this work with the other acids?150 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 1 dayHey there! ✨ You can use salicylic acid once or twice a week. Salicylic acid can definitely be combined with AHA acids, hydrating hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide, but to avoid skin irritation, I recommend that combination you were thinking of: toner + salicylic acid + cream / facial oil ☺️ The most important thing with salicylic acid is to avoid over-exfoliating the skin: so don’t use it every day if your skin feels sensitive 🤍

Consideration
Hi, Can this product help with seborrheic eczema, to reduce oil production? And should one moisturize afterwards, is there any such product from the Ordinary?1277 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 2 monthsHello Herr😊 Thank you for your question✨ Salicylic Acid 2% from The Ordinary can in some cases help with seborrheic eczema, as it dissolves dead skin cells and can reduce sebum, but since the skin is often sensitive with eczema, one should be careful. Yes, it is important to moisturize afterwards, and from The Ordinary I can recommend: Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA – a light but effective moisturizer lyko.com/sv/the-ordinary/the-ordinary-natural-moisturizing-factor Natural Moisturizing Factors + PhytoCeramides – if you need something a bit richer lyko.com/sv/the-ordinary/the-ordinary-natural-moisturizing-factors---phytoceramides-100ml Here are some milder tips on cleansing and cream that are specifically designed for seborrheic eczema: lyko.com/sv/bioderma/bioderma-sensibio-ds--soothing-purifying-cream-40-ml lyko.com/sv/bioderma/bioderma-sensibio-ds--gel-moussant-200-ml Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice day🌞

Did not work for me
Causes burning, bumpy rashes on the chin, very flaky red skin, so for me this was a disaster :/ I would love tips on a mild exfoliating product.990 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 2 monthsHey Åsa! I don’t know if you’ve used BHA before, but it sounds like your skin has reacted to salicylic acid (BHA) – especially if your skin isn’t used to acids. It could also be an intolerance to salicylic acid – some skin types simply can’t tolerate BHA. For high concentration for your skin type – 2% is an effective strength, and on more sensitive skin, it can cause irritation, redness, and flaking. If you want the best tips and advice for your skin, I can highly recommend that you take our skin test, which you can find in the Lyko app under the search function and BeautyScan. There are our skin therapists who are passionate about helping you find the right products ❤

Hi
I have a lot of sebaceous filaments (straw) that are quite visible and pimples. Is this serum recommended or the serum with niacinamide?1038 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 2 monthsHey Ellen😊 Thanks for your question✨ If you have visible sebaceous filaments and pimples, The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% is recommended. It cleans the pores deeply and effectively reduces blockages. Niacinamide is also good – especially for balancing oil production and reducing redness – but salicylic acid is more directly effective against clogged pores. You can use both, but feel free to start with salicylic acid 2–3 times a week in the evening and supplement with niacinamide as needed and if your skin enjoys this. Don’t forget moisturizer and SPF during the day! Good luck with your skincare and hope you have a super nice day🌞

Compatible Moisturizer
Hi, Which face cream would be compatible with this? Could LA ROCHE-POSAY EFFACLAR DUO+ moisturizer be compatible with this? My skin is surface dry and I suddenly have a lot of small impurities, which I'm seeking help for with this serum.1110 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 3 monthsHi Annika! I would recommend using a moisturizing cream with this serum, for example this one: lyko.com/en/isntree/isntree-hyaluronic-acid-aqua-gel-cream-100-ml Use the serum only in the evening in your skincare routine ❤️ Have a nice day!1 likes

Works Super Well!!!
I have very sensitive and relatively dry skin that needs a lot of moisture. I get the occasional pimple now and then, during my period. This product reduces the pimples. I love having it under makeup as I think it prevents pimples from popping up during the day. I have tried Paula's Choice and think it is more effective, but I think The Ordinary's is more affordable!1161 views- The comment was made 3 weeksA bit mixed, I have another serum that you shouldn't use at the same time. I use it more during/before my period but use their salicylic acid mask more regularly :)
