    Best😍

I've been using this product for almost 2 years now, and it has kept my face really clean and clear. Before this, I suffered a lot from impurities and oily skin. Now I don't have those issues, and my face is in such good condition. 😍🤩 #lykoreview

    Hi

I have a lot of sebaceous filaments (straw) that are quite visible and pimples. Is this serum recommended or the serum with niacinamide?

Hey Ellen😊 Thanks for your question✨ If you have visible sebaceous filaments and pimples, The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% is recommended. It cleans the pores deeply and effectively reduces blockages. Niacinamide is also good – especially for balancing oil production and reducing redness – but salicylic acid is more directly effective against clogged pores. You can use both, but feel free to start with salicylic acid 2–3 times a week in the evening and supplement with niacinamide as needed and if your skin enjoys this. Don’t forget moisturizer and SPF during the day! Good luck with your skincare and hope you have a super nice day🌞

    Compatible Moisturizer

Hi, Which face cream would be compatible with this? Could LA ROCHE-POSAY EFFACLAR DUO+ moisturizer be compatible with this? My skin is surface dry and I suddenly have a lot of small impurities, which I'm seeking help for with this serum.

    Works Super Well!!!

I have very sensitive and relatively dry skin that needs a lot of moisture. I get the occasional pimple now and then, during my period. This product reduces the pimples. I love having it under makeup as I think it prevents pimples from popping up during the day. I have tried Paula's Choice and think it is more effective, but I think The Ordinary's is more affordable!

    Amazing!

Perfect for oily skin, much cleaner pores and less blackheads. Only minus is that the bottle is quite small :(

can this be used with vitamin c and possibly niacinamide? when and how should I use the different ones.. atm I’m using a day cream with vitamin c, is that smart or should I rather have a serum? should I use something in the evening and something during the day?

Hi Alva 👋 To use The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2%, Vitamin C serum, Niacinamide serum, and a moisturizer with Vitamin C, it’s important to set up a routine that maximizes the effectiveness of the products while avoiding irritation 💪 ‼️ Rule of thumb: Don’t use everything at once, and avoid combining active ingredients that can irritate the skin. Here, I don’t have insight into your age, skin type/condition, which specific products you are using - or a picture of your skin as of today. This means I don’t have the ability to provide a definitive answer regarding when and how the products should be used together, and which products are best suited for you and your skin as of today 🙌 In this case, I would absolutely recommend you take our free skin test so I can review your skin and product usage! Then I can set up a tailored recommendation for you with the order of application and similar 😍 You can find the skin test in our app under the "beauty Scan" section. ‼️ Important tips: - Don’t use salicylic acid and vitamin C together in the same routine – it can irritate and make vitamin C less effective. - Don’t use vitamin C and niacinamide in the same routine unless your skin is used to it – some can tolerate it, but many experience irritation. - Introduce new products gradually – especially acids. Wishing you a great day ahead 🥰

The only thing I like from “the Ordinary” brand is this salicylic acid. Best to use at night after toner

    A question

Can I use this product and let it sink in for a few minutes and then apply (The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 30 ml) in my evening routine? And should I apply this all over my face or specifically on the areas where I have pores 🫶🏽

Hey there! ❤️ Yes, you can use Salicylic Acid 2% first and then Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% in your evening routine. Apply it all over your face if your skin can handle it, otherwise just on problem areas. Feel free to start every other evening and always moisturize and use SPF during the day! 🌙✨ Take care! ❤️

    So so

I haven't noticed any improvement on my pores with this product. I find that the following products give better results (not used at the same time): • Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% • Direct Acids AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution 30 ml I use The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 60 ml, and it has made a noticeable difference by reducing swellings like pimples, redness, and small bumps. Now I no longer have raised, swollen pimples. Despite this, my pores continued to be visible and dark. I started using this product (not at the same time as Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%), but unfortunately, I haven't seen any noticeable change. I either applied this product in the evening after washing and Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% in the morning after washing (and UV protection during the day), or I used the products every other day. I've noticed that if I completely exclude Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, I get small bumps, especially on my forehead. So I feel so far summarized that this product was not necessary for me.
