Ensure the entire surface is evenly melted during the first burn. Set it on a heat-resistant surface. Limit the candle's burn time to 3-4 hours at a stretch. Trim the wick before each lighting. Dispose of the candle when only about 5 mm of wax is left. Always burn within sight.
