The Amelie Soie Silk Hairband Knot is kind to your hair, and helps the hair better maintain its shape and gloss. Furthermore, it helps to prevent hair breakage and gives you beautiful and healthy hair that is less greasy and tangled. Silk absorbs a third of the moisture compared to other materials.
100% 19 MM MULBERRY SILK.* MM = momme, which represents weight and is used particularly for silk and refers to the amount of silk, in terms of weight. The Amelie Soie Silk Hairband Knot has a weight of 19 mommes and a thread count of 6A, which gives it greater density, quality and strength. Mulberry silk is a soft silk fibre. There is silk that is of inferior quality, which is easy to detect. The quality of the silk is not as soft and smooth, and it can contain burls.
It is produced free from harmful chemicals and it is manufactured under approved conditions. We do not recommend that you wash your silk hair accessories. They will lose their sheen and lustre. Do not use in wet hair.
Take good care of your silk products and they will be with you for many years to come. To maintain the wonderful quality, use an enzyme-free detergent such as liquid Y3 (available in most supermarkets) or bile soap, together with a wash bag. Wash very sparingly, as washing will dull the beautiful lustre. You can also use a steamer to refresh your silk accessories.
