Eucalyptus oil (Eucalyptus globulus) from India boasts a wonderfully fresh scent with a hint of menthol. Eucalyptus is a genus of trees native to Australia, but it doesn’t always grow as a tree; sometimes it appears as a bush. The essential oil is extracted through the distillation of the blue-green leaves or branches from the young plant. We’ve used leaves from Eucalyptus globulus, which contains the highest concentration of the active ingredient eucalyptol, making it one of the most beloved forms of eucalyptus oil.

This oil can be blended with other oils or creams to create your own skincare products. It’s also perfect for use in humidifiers to bring a refreshing aroma to your home and as an ingredient in insect repellent against various types of bugs. Eucalyptus has a light cooling effect when mixed with almond oil for massage, and the menthol scent invigorates both body and mind. It pairs beautifully with all citrus oils and peppermint, as well as aromatic and herbal oils like basil, lavender, thyme, ravensara, rosemary, pine needle, and tea tree. Usage:
Dilute in oil (max. 2% concentration) for skin application or use in aromatherapy. Start with a small area to check for tolerance. Harmful if used undiluted. Wear protective gloves. Wash skin thoroughly after use.
