Your skin is able to better maintain its moisture balance, as Mulberry silk absorbs a third of the moisture compared to other materials. It also means that it is cooler to sleep with. When it is warm, silk has a cooling effect and when it is cold, it will make you feel warmer.
Silk consists of amino acids and is structured in a similar way to our skin. For this reason, silk is beneficial to people with eczema and irritated skin, thanks to its organic structure. Silk is a more hypoallergenic alternative as it does not attract mites and pollen in the way that other materials do.
