Ordered this concealer from ABH in shade 3 a few weeks ago. It is exactly what I have been looking for! Thick formula with high coverage, but soft enough to not cake on my dry skin. It also blends out nicely and evenly. In the video, I have only set the concealer with a little loose powder and applied some bronzer and highlighter. I also didn’t prep with any primer beforehand, just day cream from the morning. ✨ I dare say that this is on par with MAC pro longwear concealer and NARS radiant concealer, so I recommend daring to invest in this if you feel you can! Easier to apply than the former and more product than both. It seems to last long considering its 12ml content and high coverage. You don’t need as much as I took. ✨🤍 A concealer with really good coverage!
I have really fallen for Anastasia Beverly Hills Magic Touch Concealer in shade 11! This is the kind of concealer I like when I want high coverage but still a natural and beautiful finish. 🥹✨ The first thing I like is the formula. It’s creamy and easy to blend, while also buildable from medium to full coverage. I think it’s perfect when I want to cover dark circles, redness, or small unevenness without needing to apply a lot of product. Under the eyes, I think it gives a really nice brightening effect. It’s designed to both correct, brighten, and blur the appearance of fine lines and unevenness. The finish is more naturally radiant than super matte, which I think makes the skin look more alive. 🤍 The applicator is also really smart. The drop-shaped tip makes it easy to reach under the eyes and around the nose, while picking up quite a bit of product. And here I would actually say: use a little! Anastasia herself recommends starting with a thin layer and building up as needed. What I really appreciate is that it’s so versatile. I can use it under the eyes, spot conceal blemishes, brighten the face, or even use other shades for contouring. 🤍 It contains, among other things, plant-based glycerin for moisture and licorice root which is supposed to help soothe the skin. The formula is also vegan and cruelty-free. And the longevity seems really good. Lyko has 4.5/5 from 32 reviews, and several users highlight the high coverage, that it lasts well throughout the day, and that a small amount goes a long way. A small warning though is that it can feel a bit dry if the skin under the eyes isn’t properly moisturized. So I would definitely apply some moisturizer/eye cream first and then use a thin layer of concealer. 12 ml is also generous for a concealer, especially since you don’t need much per use. Right now shade 11 is priced at 256 kr at Lyko, compared to the regular 320 kr. For me, this is a more luxurious concealer with really good coverage, a nice finish, and impressive longevity. How to Use:
SPOT-CONCEALING
Using the wand, apply directly under the eyes, over blemishes or discoloration – anywhere you want extra coverage. Start with a light layer and build as desired. Blend and diffuse using Brush A26 or tap with your fingertips using gentle pressure.
For under eyes, select a shade that is one-two shades lighter than your skin tone. Apply two-three dots and blend edges. For dark circles, select a shade with a peach undertone to color correct and brighten.
For blemishes, select a shade that is closest to your skin tone. Apply one dot and blend edges.
For redness, select a shade with a golden undertone to neutralize. Apply directly to discolored areas and blend edges.
