Ensure the entire surface is soaked for the initial burn. Set it on a surface that's heat-resistant. Allow the candle to burn for no more than 3-4 hours at a time. Trim the wick before every lighting. Toss it out when there's roughly 5 mm of wax left. Always burn within sight.
