Face Cream
Like a thin gel in consistency and smells almost like nothing. I think it almost feels cooling on the skin. It absorbs well after you pat it in, the skin doesn’t feel sticky at all afterwards. I have combination, sensitive, and also acne-prone skin. Many creams become too greasy and clog the pores. At the same time, I am drier in the winter and need moisture, so it’s a jungle to find the right one. This one is, as mentioned, light in consistency, it hydrates without making the skin shiny/oily. ❤️ A gel cream I’ve really fallen for!
Beauty of Joseon Red Bean Water Gel is a moisturizing cream that I find incredibly nice when you want a lot of moisture without the skin feeling heavy. I really love gel creams for that reason – they feel so fresh and light on the skin. ✨ The texture is truly one of my favorite parts. It’s light, cooling, and absorbs quickly into the skin. I like the feeling of being able to apply a good layer without afterwards feeling like the face is covered by a greasy film. Instead, the skin feels soft and hydrated. It contains, among other things, red bean extract, which is meant to help with moisture and skin balance. I really like when a cream feels simple but at the same time has ingredients that actually have a clear purpose. 🤍 This is also a product I think works really well during the day. It feels light enough for the morning routine and works fine under makeup, but it’s also lovely in the evening when you want to finish your skincare with something moisturizing. I especially like the fresh feeling afterwards. The skin feels soft, supple, and hydrated without becoming heavy. That’s exactly the type of finish I personally want from a gel cream. And 100 ml is also a really nice amount! 😂 ❤️ It feels like a product you can actually use properly without having to be afraid it runs out immediately. I think this one is especially good for you who like light, moisturizing creams and don’t want a super-rich face cream. It’s simple, fresh, and very pleasant to use. Mild, pleasant, and a safe and good choice for sensitive skin. Feels soothing and retains moisture. Makeup applies nicely after application. I have very sensitive and allergic combination skin that is drier in winter than in summer. Dewy Finish
Not sticky and left a dewy look, did not smell. I did not like if because it made my skin more greasy and I have combination skin. If you have greasy skin and want dewy finish — maybe it is not the right choice. Positively Surprised
I was really positively surprised by the product. The packaging is cute in a minimalist way, and is designed in a way that both makes the product easy to dose and minimizes the amount of product that gets stuck inside (and thus goes to waste). The gel is light, absorbs quickly, and moisturizes well, and is very economical. My skin has calmed down significantly, and I feel like I have fewer visible blackheads. What brings the rating down from a full score is that the cream leaves a slightly noticeable film on the skin for a while after application (not nearly as much as many other creams, it should be said). I would also have liked a bit more moisture, especially at depth (I will probably supplement with serum and switch to a richer cream in the fall/winter). I have combination skin, rosacea, and hormonal acne. I know I should use a gel as a moisturizer, but I remember the ones my mom bought for me in my teenage years (in the 00s), so I've shied away from it. So I bought this one.
