- The post was made 1 monthRating: 3 out of 5verified customerWhere is the hair color revival?BHBD Shine Tone โ Cool Beige โจ I bought this based on the promise that it would revive hair color, give a nice shine, and deeply care for the hair โ and I would say it actually lived up to two out of three โฃ๏ธ The shine really became very nice and the hair felt soft, moisturized, and almost like after a really good hair mask. It was also very easy to apply! โจ However, unfortunately, I saw no difference in the color at all. I have my natural color at the roots and lengths, with some bleached parts that have started to turn yellowish. I chose Cool Beige to give the bleached lengths a nicer, beige tone โ but even though I followed the instructions to the letter, I experienced no color change at all. โจ So even though the hair became incredibly nice and moisturized, I had expected significantly more from the color aspect. Left it on for 15 minutes, got a fantastic beautiful color, shine, and the hair feels like silk. The first use didnโt have much effect despite 15 minutes in the hair, but I did a second time with about a week in between and wow, what a cool tone I got on my highlights. Thatโs exactly what Iโm after since as a brunette you can easily get your bleached highlights in a warmer golden tone. Iโm super satisfied! Also a long-lasting product, I have thick Asian hair that goes well past my shoulders. Since this is a toner and not a lightening treatment, the result can be quite subtle, especially on hair that is already highlighted or has a cool tone from the start. The effect is also influenced by the hair's initial condition, porosity, and how much pigment the hair can absorb. However, it does not work on too dark highlights, you need a light base. Perfect on my home-highlighted hair, now it looks like it was done at a salon. Use:
General Application Instructions
Start with freshly washed, towel-dried hair. Divide your hair into sections for even application.
Apply the gel and leave on for 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the intensity of the result you desire.
Rinse thoroughly. Avoid applying the gel directly to your hair extension attachments.
