Robert Powls is the name of the man behind the company Cloud Nine and the same man was also the mastermind behind ghd - a slightly revolutionary technology in hair care devices. He has refined and developed this technique, among other things, by using unique ceramic plates for cone-shaped straighteners, all flavored with a secret ingredient that gives the hair extra shine. But how he does it is actually irrelevant. The important thing is that we can enjoy the finished result.     I love this iron, it's great with it's ceramic plates and three temperature settings so it doesn't fry fine hair and it glides nicely through my hair. It seems very good quality and is fairly lightweight and easy to work with. Sleek and nice design. Heats up fast. Makes my hair look so nice and shiny. Wish lyko would stock more of this brand and the wide plate iron too
