It sounds like the polish hasn't cured properly. To achieve the best durability, it's important that the nail is thoroughly cleaned with Pre-Cleanser, that you apply really thin layers of both color and top coat, and cure each layer for 30 seconds in the lamp. Also, avoid getting polish on the cuticles, and always finish with High Shine Top Coat that is cured. Then the result usually becomes both hard and durable 😊
